This location is not the problem it is your customer service over the phone. Nobody mentioned the extra cost of insurance! Secondly starting out with less than 1/4 tank is not great. I would rather not have to find a gas station right after leaving the Uhaul pick up place.crystal josh F.
This location was very disappointing compared to other UHaul locations. The employees failed to comply with the local face mask bylaw and it was too small to accommodate the two customers and two employees. The vehicle had a change engine oil notification the entire time. The back of the van had not be cleaned (i found pieces of broken glass).Chris M.
The guy on the phone was rude and rushing me through my questions. The truck was dirty on outside and inside..which is not acceptable during covid especially. The reutrn online thing didnt work so we had to call in and wait 25 min for someone to answer. We always have issues with uhaul. Won't use it again.Mark D.

The guy running a store probably had a bad morning and was noticeably annoyed, he couldn't find my reservation and repeatedly asked if it's under different name. 30 seconds later he found my reservation under same name as I originally told him. Printed invoice also had and insurance billed in even I tho I declined it during reservation I didn't complain about that just not to make an awkward situation even worse. If I wouldn't be so short on time I honestly would walk away and go to enterprise across the road. Equipment wise everything was good. Just a given location and person running it.Artur G.
First, your prices are out of line and way too expensive. Secondly, the van was not clean, there was no washer fluid, there was no snow brush / scarper in the vehicle. I had to clean off the windows with my credit card. Thirdly, what in the heck is an environmental fee? Something else to drive up your already exorbitant pricing. U-Haul will definitely be my last choice for vehicle rental in the future.Russell D.

I rented the U-Haul for 1600 because I work in the Emergency Department until 1515. I received a phone call that day saying I had to arrive before 1600 or else I'd lose the booking. Even though the website had options all the way up to midnight. So I rushed there and bately made it. The man was rude, and the second employee sat behind him watching the hockey game the whole time. I got the truck, did my thing, returned the truck. The next day, and the following three days, I got phone calls from the unhaul dealer asking for payment despite the fact that my credit card had clearly been charged and I clearly explained that. Overall, I would never rent from here again or recommend anyone go here. Everything was just awful.Kristen J.
They were rude, threatening, and even tried slipping in an upsell, that I had not signed up for online. I would advise no one to ever do business at this location. I have used uhaul all over North America. I had only two bad experiences. One was in Toronto when an employee extorted a "tip" from me when in the yard (after the office). I never had that happen before or since, anywhere...I am a notoriously big tipper. But that was just an employee. This guy in this Calgary location was the manager of this store. It was like he had a chip on his shoulder from some recent uhaul event of some sort.Les H.

Ive used U-Haul about 6-7 times in the last three years and this location specifically has been the most convenient, as far as customer service and processing payments go. Very nice gentlemen working at this location. Just wish it wasn't so far for me but would make the trip over there and recommend that location. Thanks!Madeleine V.
Given a truck with 2 inches of snow and nothing to clean off the snow or ice, This is unexpected, I had to run the truck 15 minutes to melt ice and use credit cards to scrap the windows, this is unexceptionable when paying $150.00 and an ice scrapper is $3.00.Lester A.
The vehicles were dirty, The windows weren't even defrosted. Javier was very hard to work with as far as wanting to use another credit card than first offered. We were very surprised the card we gave him even accepted the charges. There was no washer fluid, and the whole time a check engine light was on to change the oil. We will most likely go way out of way to use the Blackfoot location and not deal with this office againSteve D.
Customer service was poor. Both reps were rude with no customer service. Returned vehicle to spot they suggested for after hours but did not leave vehicle key as key slot was broken into . Early morning call about if we left keys there. This was the only appreciation we received! Then kept calling for payment as $30 still owing! Need to Learn some manners!Laury G.

The truck interior had clearly not be cleaned out between customers. There was an old contract and an old mask on the floor, which is worrying because I question whether the cab was sanitized. I also was not provided with a key for the lock to the back door. All of my possessions were left vulnerable as a result.Nicholas D.
Rude and not willing to help. Told me to just leave the keys when dropping off, then proceeded to charge me a re-fueling fee even though I for sure re-fueled it to the right level. Called them and he kept repeating it was not at the level rented, while I knew it was. Did not want to help. Called U-HAUL call center directly and they assisted! The guy asked me to return my vehicle sooner even though I had a 24 hr reservation. I said no, and he said his day was busy tomorrow. When I left the location I ended up getting a text saying my vehicle was due back in 5 hrs. I had to sit on the phone on hold to fix this issue. Also their closing hours are wrong online (google). It said 4pm, however the store called me and said its 3:30 to me. To even make it more confusing my apt for picking up the vehicle was for 4:15pm. U-Haul clearly has the wrong hours in their system for this location. Thankfully the guy from this location called me and advised me of this. However he failed to advise me that they did not have a furniture dolly in stock, which I requested. So when I arrived to pick up my rental he told me I would have to drive to another location. I was upset as this would add on km to my rental which would cost me extra money. He did not offer to take care of this or even phone another location for me to see if they had it in stock. The older guy also said NOT to use the web check out if I returned it after hours and he will be doing the check out in the morning. I asked the younger guy that handed me the keys at the end of the transaction if the web check out was not reliable. However he just said the old man is stuck in his ways. I also read after this happened that if I let the shop do this I would be charged $20 as a convenience fee. He told me specifically to let him do it. However I did not listen to him and I did the web check out.Darren V.
The customer service was terrible. Absolutely, no people skills at all. Abrupt and rude. They forgot to put the mattress cover in the truck. I was given one location, down the street, to park the truck when I return it, and told that if I park elsewhere I will be responsible for the towing fees. When I went to return the U-HAUL, there was nowhere to park it! The small road area, that I was allowed to park, was full. I tried to park the truck at 4pm, then had to drive it home again and come back every hour waiting for a space to park. Finally at 8pm there was a spot available. I would not recommend this location to anyone.Deirere L.
Customer service was Very poor, with no human touch by the one that received me. It was my first time at this location but I bet even a machine would have treated me better.
