Allow the customer to vent, instead of rapidly defending and overtalking your customer. At least hear them out and offer them help of what to do. We had experienced U-haul nickel and diming us, charging us for a "free" storage unit we never used, travelling 13 miles to pick up our truck not realizing that went against our mile allotment, when they had plenty locations within a few miles of our starting place. Then to get charged for the extra few miles was just another example of being nickel and dimed, adding to our U-haul frustration. Hear the customer out, please.
barbra bThe issue was not with the location but with having to be 40m from our original pick up location (moved days before we flew into town) and then the drop off moved as were were two minutes out from delivering it back.
