I am complete disappointed with uhaul. We use them every time we need to rent a truck, but this time was the worst experience and customer service I have ever experience anywhere. We reserved a truck weeks in advance at a location that was convent for us and our moving schedule. We were on our way to pick up our truck and we received a call from the location we were suppose to pick up our moving truck from. They stated that there was a problem with their computer system and they did not have our truck. We then needed to go farther away to pick up our truck. This was a major inconvenience since we had movers now waiting for us and we got started late. We called U-Haul and they stated that we could return the truck to our original location instead of going all the way our of our way to return it where we picked it up. We get the original location at the time we were suppose to drop it off and guess what? They wouldn't let us drop the truck off there. We had to go where we picked it up. We are beyond frustrated and disappointed in uhaul because now we were charged for miles that we had not anticipated on using. You may want to rethink this system and maybe be a little more helpful to your customers to plan in advance like we did. Thank you for messing up our move!! We will never use uhaul again and I will be telling everyone about this!

They were convenient to my new home. 4:30 Sunday afternoon they were closed. Because they were closed I had no personal contact. Also the process of online drop off, check-in needs to be streamlined. Not like I couldn’t handle the process. But I could see some people in my generation 60+ freak out!

No instructions, no one there to explain the process or help- the location was closed upon arrival due to the employee being late. . The person working there was rude and totally annoyed that we were even there.

Would be nice to have more location specific directions about where to park vehicle, whether or not there would be an attendant to help, what the hours location would be open, etc.

I have a worst experience with the UHaul rental from this location, the truck I was given was with engine light on, and the fuel level was 3/4 of tank when I started the engine, but was marked at 7/8 in the contract. So I went back to store immediately, and told the clerk that the engine is on and fuel level is only 3/4, not 7/8. I was told that it is OK with engine light on, the fuel level just need bringing back with whatever it was. For the record, I took the picture on fuel level before I left. The worst experience began when I returned the truck today with fuel level over 3/4, but the manger of the store forced to charge me the fuel to the 7/8. I have pictures proof on the facts I said above. It is not about the overpaid $6 fuel fee, it is about the bad experience the UHaul provided to its customers. I will definitely would not recommend to rent the UHaul from this location. Worst experience!!!

Lock on truck wouldn’t open charged extra day when it was one day cleaning fee of $25 for some used tape left in truck whole thing cost $200 vs the $80-90 it was

The Uhaul website was unclear that the type of van I wanted was unavailable here. I had already entered my vehicle preference and the website offered this location as an option... pure laziness on the part uhaul. Fix your website, that type of error is very 2003.

Had 2 bad tires. Radio did not work! Horn did not work! And air conditioning did not work!?? Fucking sucked. If I'm going to pay over $200 to rent a truck for 24 hours it should work properly. NO RADIO!! BULLSHIT

Took an hour to get into truck remotely. Customer service was trying to sell me more storage options rather than help - Location setting would not allow for access. Customer service was awful. transferred to support and no one picked up. had to call someone else use their phone - Added stress to a hard day

Had to search for the key drop, as it was not in the main building, but bolted to some run down sheds 50 yards away behind some weeds.

The location (Hallmans General Store) was fine, my complaints are with U-Haul the company. First, U-haul never contacted me to say it had changed the location of our rental (which was ~15 miles from our originally scheduled one). Second, U-Haul tried to change my time of pick-up to one hour later when it was 5 minutes before my reservation. U-haul also did not make it clear that we had to go inside and return the lock that was on the U-Haul, so now I have to deal with sending it back or get a $20 fine.

Iwas told that there would be a key drop but there wasn't. I dropped the truck off the night prior to when it was due but there was no key drop. I was in the middle of moving nad luckily had a friend in the area that could drop the key off since I was needed to drive back to my previous house. My friend dropped the key off in the morning but two hours after dropping the key off, I received an email stating that my truck was later. Then in the middle of my busy day moving, I had to waste 1/2 an hour on the phone with uhaul trying to clear it up. Another issue was that I rented the truck for a one way trip. When calculated uhaul allowed me 153 miles.However, I did not drive this truck anywhere other than where I needed to and was charged for extra mileage. It was not much but it was stilll annoying that I was charged anything since I only drove where I was supposed to.
