Online process should be easier, if I'm picking up a truck, I shouldn't be waiting on giving alternate phone numbers out for verification. I don't see its purpose. If you want two alternate phone numbers then ask me when I'm booking the truck, not when I'm ready to pickup the truck at the location.


There should be some sort of a sign at this location indicating it is a rental facility. Seeing a few U Haul trucks parked on the street around this run-down gas station is not enough. I completed the rental form on line and then had to reenter all of the same information in the app when I was picking up the vehicle. A real waste of time. Remind the renter that the vehicle number is NOT the license plate number. The vehicle number is marked on the front left corner of the fan. Warn the renter that several steps are required when picking up and dropping off--pictures are needed etc. repeated information must be entered. Have a clearer list of the rental process. The contact-less pickup and drop off worked well. I had no problems at all. The van was new and easy to drive in city traffic.

The entire rental experience was horrific. No notification that I would need to download an App in order to complete the rental. No notification that I needed to have an account to complete the rental. Despite completing all fo the online information including uploading my DL, still took forever to get truck. Waited 30 minutes to speak to customer service rep. All could have been avoided by specifically notifying customers of change in procedure ( I checked to complete transaction at counter which is no longer available).

It took over 1 hour to get the webpage process for a lockbox code. Customer service hold wa much of that. Location change at last minute forced upon us.

I was told I could not return my truck to the agreed upon location by the local employee. I was directed to a different location for the return. I was yelled at by the clerk at the second location. Tried to call U-Haul national phone number and was on hold for 25 minutes before hanging up. I went back to the original location and left the truck with a very angry employee at that location. Terrible service by U-Haul.

Leave a scraper for the OCE on windows. Put the blankets and 2-wheeler I ordered in the truck.

I arrived at the pickup location and was not able to access the keys to the truck without having a 40 minute conversation with U-Haul support staff. When I was given the code to unlock the box that held the key - the key was to the wrong vehicle and I had to wait 1 hour for the key to the correct vehicle was located.


I specifically requested counter check-in, only to have the mobile check-in as the only option at this location. Process took far too long, the web-based system is clunky and excessive from a user experience aspect. Probably around 10-12 page loads to complete, requires user to upload multiple vehicle photos and also requires location services to be turned on... again, all of this is excessive compared the counter-service. The location DOES NOT have a designated parking spot and since it's a tiny gas station, there were no available spaces upon returning the vehicle.

The mobile pickup was not very user friendly. We waited 30 minutes to pick up the truck because of the process I needed to do to confirm my contract with customer support. Maybe give an estimate as to how long you will need to go through the pick up process. I have used Uhaul many times with my family, we have never encountered an issue as bad as the mobile system.

Can someone please call me at 708-707-3326? I've been incorrectly charged. I keep calling and can't get through to anyone. I've spoken to Cathy at Credit Admin in Phoenix. I need to speak to a manager ASAP as my grace period ends today. I've emailed and call and no one is responding to me.

The automated user experience was exceptional. I returned the van at midnight and couldn't get gas; not a big deal but a slight drawback.

Parking is a little spotty. It would be helpful if there were dedicated spots for U-Haul. Another U-Haul customer did such a bad parking job they took up space that was originally for two trucks.

The online prompts are fairly simple. The numbers on the van I rented were scratched off so it was hard to find. Whoever was last in it left it only a quarter tank of gas. Parking when returning the vehicle is a nightmare.

No truck parking. Suggest giving specific parking locations at after hours Dropbox locations. Had to go to N Ogden location after trying to park at 1900 N Dearbon - same issue there. Ended up having to park the truck overnight at a gas pump at the gas station attached.


Car was dirty on the outside likely due to the manufacturing next door. Inside wasn't very clean either. Gas and odometer were both far off on the app not in my favor

The parking location on the side of the building is a bit dangerous with trucks from the nearby facility barreling past, especially since I needed to go into the street to get photos of the truck for after-hours checkout. Even though there wasn't a u-haul rep on site, the gas station attendant was friendly and helpful. Van was clean and in great working order.

I won'r recommend Uhaul though--I declined CDW when making the reservation but I was billed for it by you--the people who worked at the place were nice and good it clearly was your IT that did this--I'll avoid Uhaul in the future
