Uhaul website is not location specific meaning that the other tools, boxes, DOLLIES, etc. offered on the website are pointless because most 3rd parties will not carry the inventory. Relatively easy to check in, pick up, and check out. 3rd party doesn't clean the uhaul that well but that's there issue.

August G.Generally, the experience was okay. The process of picking up the van took longer than expected because we had to drive back and forth from the auto shop to where the vehicle was parked a couple times while using the app. However, when we tried to return the vehicle, the app instructed us to leave the van in the parking lot of the auto clinic but the parking lot was gated and locked and there was no other place to park the vehicle nearby. I waited on hold for U-Haul customer service for over 2 hours before speaking with someone. The women I spoke with was very nice and helpful and told me to keep the van over the weekend and drop the van off at the auto clinic on Monday morning when they opened next. She told me I would not be charged extra for this. When I then dropped the van off on Monday, I was ultimately charged for the extra days. I spoke again with someone from customer service who told me I would receive a refund. The people at the auto clinic were very nice and I don't have anything negative to say about them, but modifying the instructions and planning for the fact that the auto clinic isn't always open would have helped prevent all these issues.
