The two gentleman who helped me were amazing and friendly and the location is conveniently located close to several buses so a uber drop off isn't required. The alley to get out is a little small but its still such a good deal
JULES A1. Contactless pickup is incredibly poorly executed and much much more inconvenient than just talking to a human 2. Dropping off was nearly impossible as the trucks and vans are stored in the alley and another van was parked poorly, making it impossible to park in the indicated spot. 3. I have had past uhaul experiences that went incredibly well with the help of actual human workers. Replacing everything with crappy online features has made for a miserable experience. I will not be using uhaul again until these features are removed.
Melody C1) I think the major thing is to be able to pull trucks in and out of the parking lot rather than the alley. It’s a fairly small gap to back up a 10ft truck into. 2) Have the people working inside be able to check you in. When I came in to get the truck key and fill out the rest of my information the guy working at this location called another location and put me on the phone with them rather than checking me in himself. That was very strange and somewhat inconvenient. 3) Send the after hours return link in a way that’s easier to navigate to. It was buried inside all the terms and conditions when it could be at the top of another email or elsewhere.
Ben CJust put a bigger sign outside, was hard to find the building.
