Honestly, I'm not a fan of the person-less pick-up. The lot is dilapidated. There's also a tent camp literally five feet from where I picked up the truck. It's a much better user experience to be able to talk to a U-Haul employee. The all-digital pick-up process is confusing and stressful, especially when you're standing in the middle of a lot that feels unsafe. It's good to be able to ask questions to a flesh and blood human being and make sure you're all set before shoving off.

The Password provided for the Letter lock on back of the truck was not working. I was also forced to pay my movers extra to stay longer than expected because I had to call customer service, who had to connect me to roadside assistance so they could come cut the lock off.
Amanda BLocation was difficult to get in despite being a U-Haul drop off center. Trash everywhere. Big potholes in the parking lot, abandoned, damaged cars.
Alyssa EThis location is extremely unsafe. We were being eyeballed by a man as he was walking around the parking lot. The locks on the lockbox were not working well, they were rusted and difficult to open.
