This summer is twice now I have tried to rent from this fine vendor to carry out a car hauling project. Twice now, I have made a reservation DAYS in advance, only to be called by Indianapolis telling me I must go to another dealer 20 miles away from my house to pick up the equipment. I ordered days in advance to ensure it was where "I" needed it, not where Uhaul wanted me to pick it up. This is terrible customer service with no reflection on the original vendor - they are superb and I highly recommend them. Now, if Uhaul would just throw them/me a bone once in a while it might be nice. Oh, and I'm sure Uhaul would have gladly charged me the additional 40 miles of driving required to pick up the equipment where THEY wanted me to pick it up instead of the location I rented from. ADAM DWhile we were treated with the utmost respect and were very happy with the owner of this pickup location, but we were forced to drive nearly 90 miles to pickup our truck. The owner of the store was very apologetic, not like the person on the phone with us from whatever corporate center you call from. There were 10 to 15 trucks in a town just 20 miles away from me where I scheduled the pickup from. I don't understand why we had to drive such a distance for a truck. That ade no sense toi me at all and cost me additionally for the fuel.
