Renting at this location always, always takes for ever. There is always a line and it usually take 10-15 minutes just to get to a service person. Unfortunately, when it was my turn, this time I found out that I had to go to another location to pick up the unit I had reserved online. Oh well. Hurry up and wait.

Individual (long black hair) at desk was rude and patronizing. It wasn’t really what he said it was what he didn’t say. He was condescending in his answers, like “no duh lady” or just omitted information which led me to ask questions that I felt ashamed from the way he answered it. He answered me in the way that he made me feel stupid for asking any questions. It was like he expected me to know what to do and when I asked a question, he was irritated by my “ignorance” in his facial expression, that I couldn’t read his mind and didn’t know what what the whole rental process routine was. In addition, upon calling in the first time, He could have been more helpful over the phone and just stayed in silence. When I asked if he was there he was irritated that I didn’t hear his question and just stayed in silence instead of repeating the question. I was having trouble locating the place because from the street, there isn’t a “UHAUL” sign anywhere to be seen, except for right on the front door when you’re standing in front of the building. When I returned the truck, the other attendant (long red hair) went to go check the vehicle, and when I asked if I should stay inside or outside, the long black haired guy, answered me condescendingly that if I was in a rush they could email me my receipt. And that wasn’t even my question or concern, I was just making conversation which he did not wish to engage in. I was just wondering where I should wait. And he was bothered by my questioning. Again, I was made to feel stupid for asking a question . So no, I will never return to this uhaul rental place again. Nor recommend this place if that dark long haired individual still works there. He should not deal with people period.

Okay so if you're reading this, hold on to your hat because this is wild. My name is Kevin and this is a story about the time I drove a busted-ass Uhaul across the West. At the beginning of the day on July 2nd 2019 I thought I was in for the trip of my life. Truck-driving down I5 and 99 to move my friend to her new place in Fresno (I know right... who moves to Fresno?) Anyway, I was excited to drive the Uhaul I really was. So I get all my snacks - Doritos, Reeses Pieces, jerky, the good stuff. When I get all settled in I notice the steering wheel is all titled and whatnot to the left or as I like to say "cockeyed." The tires are straight but the wheel was not, you get my drift (there was plenty of drifting, just wait). Okay so we hit the road, wooohoo! I'm towing a 4,000-pound Jeep Cherokee on a 500 pound metal Uhaul trailer from McMinnville, Oregon to Fresno, California. As we're driving everyone kept telling me I was going to have to take it really slow and easy as we went through Grants Pass - I'm from Washington and we go over Chinook Pass all the time, it isn't that bad. So people are telling me to shut it down into 3rd gear and freaking out and I know I'm going to be fine because I called myself the best truck-driving, trailer-dragging, Jeep-towing sonofagun this side of the Mississippi. Alright so literally nothing really happened until we got up over the pass (which wasn't bad at all) I did notice that the Uhaul was automatically shifting into third gear anytime I was driving downhill even If I was coasting - why? The truck literally sounded like it was going to explode because it was at 5500 RPM - wut? So if you ignore the shift shock, 20 ton trucks ripping by in the fast lane nearly flipping us and the engine nearly combusting on the highway I'd say the first six hours of our trip were pretty low key. Alright flash forward to our first stop to lunch in Weed, California (lol big stoner place I guess) and every one in this town looked like they had spent the last 20 years stuck in a car hot boxed by Snoop. Incredible scene in that town. We get back on the road and make our way into the central valley with no problems at all. Truck was running great until beautiful Sacramento, California... In Sac, we were met by a five-lane highway from hell. The lanes were so narrow that going the speed limit was literally impossible if I were to do it without plowing into a the mid 2000's Geo Metro in the lane to my right or the 18-wheeler steamrolling through the left lane. All of that being said, this wouldn't be THAT bad if the wind wasn't gusting at 30 miles per hour from my right (the truck pulled right remember, not fun). Every time a rig flew by us we almost died. Moral of the story is this rig needs to be realigned

Be more honest and transparent, just as u-haul charges for every little thing, give the customer what they deserve.

The employees are always friendly and helpful at this location. Maybe review the mobile return a little more thoroughly. I didn't realize that it would take 15 minutes. Also, clarify that the key drop box was by the front door and needs a code to deposit larger keys.

I was overcharged on my phone booking, called before renting, and your people insisted they could not honor the price your agent quoted me even though your recording system verified the quote. I was sent the recording, so I could verify she quoted me $179 and not $259.
