The pick-up location was changed on us the day before and fortunately, I noticed that in the test the day before.. The truck drove fine but had a used mask left in it so I know it was not cleaned before re-renting. The truck was also the wrong size, did not have the furniture dolley reserved nor the furniture coverings rented. Staff was pleasant but also flustered. Did not offer to provide new blankets and we had to buy them and drive to another location to pick up the last dolley.

I have called several times over the course of a few days. I was offered free storage with my rental which I thought would be beneficial. Was transfered to the scheduling department (803-791-9714) and had location updated to Jamil Rd so I could store and check-in together. Went by the store (they closed at 4) to sign storage paperwork, and the unit I had chosen was not on file. Confirmed with this store that this was to be the check-in location. Was told where to park the truck and to leave the key. Had trouble with the code to get in the gate, but rep fixed. When it was time to drop the truck off I was not able to check-in as this location was not selected. I wasn't aware I would need pictures so those weren't submitted. My passcode did not work so I couldn't even get into the storage unit. Called and sat on hold for about 15 to 20 minutes each time (no less than 4 calls) to have no real resolution. Went to the location twice and they were closed both times. My truck was only returned on-time because I was able to speak with a manager at another store who was able to direct me where I needed to be. This process was extremely taxing, and I will exhaust every option before needing to take this route again.
I request to pick up a 10' truck from a location in walking distance of my home. I was given a 15' truck 13 miles from my home. I witnessed the 10' truck at the location I requested as I drove to the further location given to me by UHaul. At 99 cents a mile, this ended up costing me an additional $26 plus 45 mins of wasted time.
I'm a good driver, I observed tuning of truck was not proper because I had to use my experience to drive it smooth, I faced difficulty sometimes, perhaps it was too much used old truck. But my last experience with uhaul was really good .This time I had to deliver the stuff at my close friend's house who was executive director, but tire were having mud attached on it, it was not clean, I had to bring truck back to my home to clean it. After covering about one thousand miles it was was producing strange sounds so I made up my mind to return as quickly as possible, whereas I had a plan to Walmart to buy two cars for my both daughters. I dropped luggage successfully so I am thankful to UHAUL because they are serving my country, America. By AAA
Vary slow. Computer did not work agent had to call uhaul.
The online and phone service was the worst. I am very disappointed in uhaul. There roadside assistance miss directed the repair team and cost me 5 hours of being stuck on the side of the road. Not sure i will ever use U-Haul again. The individual locations where great but when you need to deal with someone on the phone nationwide its miserable.
The covers that I ordered online were not at this location so I had to go to another location to pick them up. This should be noted for that site of any equipment not located on that site would have to be picked up at another location.
The only issue that I had during pick-up was the truck I was assigned was blocked in and I selected to do mobile pick-up. Lucky for me, the pick-up location opened 30 minutes prior to my scheduled time, so an associate was able to go out and move the trucks around for mine to be accessible. Also, my truck was missing moving equipment. Again, if the place had not been opened, this would've been very inconvenient. The silver lining to it all was the associate that was working that morning. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name, but she was very kind and accommodating.
I reserved a truck with 2 dolly's and furniture pads but I didn't get any of them and I was charged for them. I reserved online and was originally supposed to pick up from a different location but they didn't have the truck (after waiting 20 min). There is no parking at this location so someone would have to drop you off and trucks are on a muddy lot outside the gate.
Nothing else needed to be done. The service was fantastic and using the mobile pickup was nearly flawless. The one tiny snag we hit about the key was handled by the staff within 5 mins and I was on my way. Would definitely recommend and I will use this location again should the need to move something come up.
When i took this truck the fuel was very low which i didnt notice..During drop off time application asked me to enter fuel level.I put 21$ worth fuel already. I used this truck for total of 11 miles.i still have concerns on the final bill which i paid.i think I should have not filled the gas worth 20$ .please suggest
The truck ran hot several times while in use..... causing an extreme delay in moving and that of course equals additional time ie a 1 day job became a 2 day job
The young lady was very unprofessional. She left for several minutes and left customers waiting. Only to return and smoke a cigarette and then she finally began helping customers. Also I was charged extra money outside of the contract that I signed.
The manager and workers made my experience so pleasant. Ty.

The person at the express location 800 block of bush river rd did not know how to complete the process to give me a truck. I had to call on line and the female did it over the phone. She was amazing. Kevin called the day before and said everything was in place.However, it was not. Finally after the process was completed, the express employee spoke with Kevin and was told to take the key back from me. The female uhaul employee tried to speak with the express and he refused. He came at me in a threatening manner. I asked him several times to step back but he refused. A male customer came to my assistance . I will never use u haul again and I am filing a complaint with the BBB and consumer affairs. I hired movers and I was late because of this and had to leave some of my furniture in Columbia
Great experience and very friendly staff.
The customer service rep was quite unprofessional. I also felt like it was not secure and inappropriate for my husband's drivers license picture and information to be taken on the rep's personal cell phone. I would suggest that a company cell phone provided for that purpose.
