I will not rent from U-Haul again. The vehicle came with a quarter or 3/8 of a gas tank and I rent equipment from many places for many years such as tractors and other vehicles cars construction equipment and if they send it out half full or less and I fill it up, they give me a credit And I filled the gas tank up on one of these U-Haul trucks that we used. I brought it back with over 3/4 of a tank so I put at least $75 worth of fuel in it to their advantage corporate advantage that is this company is sorry they have no moral ethic and they should go out of business. U-Haul makes a lot of money money from the rentals and such there is no need to rape customers such as they do.

RENEE GVery helpful ama friendly staff.
KENNETH MI checked the truck in after putting in enough gas to get the tank back to the five eights mark, putting in twenty-one gallons, which surprised me since the truck was supposed to get ten miles to the gallon and since I had only traveled165 miles. But that is what it took, so I moved on. When the lady at check in got in the truck to park it, she said nothing about the fuel level, which did not surprise me, given the tank showed five eights of a tank. She gave me a receipt showing total charges, and I left happy. Later, I received in my e-mail an updated invoice showing a new total, and a new charge for $10.20, for more gallons of fuel at $2.50 a gallon. There is no way that the tank was below five eights, and even if it was, there is no way to get it there. and, even if it was, why was it not mentioned and charged while I was there instead of giving me a fraudulently low receipt, just so I would ignore the more expensive receipt when it was later emailed to me? I feel as though I have been stolen from, and I am contemplating what my next steps will be, since even though I am retired, my law license is still active.
TED HComplimentary dollies. One of the people helping g me move had no idea we had to pay extra. Very frustrating that those are put in the back of the truck when they are not needed.
