This might have been the worst experience I have ever had trying to pick up a truck. I was asked for a truck number (not my reservation number), then was told to call U-Haul to get the truck number. When I called U-Haul help line, the lady that helped me was extremely patient and helpful. She gave me the dispatch number so they could help me because she didn’t see the truck number on the reservation. She finally found a number that she told me to try as I waited for the despatch folks to pick up. That number seemed to work for the person working the counter. The person working the counter was on the phone with the owner of the store and after taking my license and asking for my other drivers license things seemed to be working faster. This was already 30-40 minutes waiting to pick up the truck. Finally the store worker passed the phone to me so I was now talking with the owner. He did apologize several times for the amount of time it was taking to check me out. Over all it took between 45 minutes and an hour to get the truck. Multiple phone call between U-Haul and the store owner to finally get the truck checked out to me. This seems really excessive when most of the checkout process is on me as the renter to take pictures and verify everything is correct within the U-Haul app.

The first place they sent me on Alum Creek two separate lock boxes did not have keys I had to drive to the other location hour and a half just to get a truck ridiculous
William Hnot obvious where to park the truck for drop off and when we went in to clarify, he wanted a picture of the odometer and the key airdropped to him (which is not at all mentioned through the online drop off instructions--instructed to take photos through the app and then put the key in the dropbox). Felt a little shady and would not use again if possible
Olympia MThey are awesome! Thanks again!
TIFFANY LThe location didn't seem safe and the customers were verbally abusive to the staff. It was pretty sad. Unfortunately also, the furniture dolly I paid to rent wasn't there. Only the appliance dolly was in the truck. Only 3 moving blankets and 2 shabby comforters.
