Truck didn’t work at old mill so I was sent to 855 concord parkway. The trucks passenger wiper blew off an hour into my drive. Then I arrived to Georgia to discover that my 2 queen beds and sectional couch are ruined beause the whole right side of truck was leaking. Uhaul says they don’t cover water damage....well this was water damage from a defective truck, not from anything to do with the move.

I was charged for insurance? I did not select this. The info jacket I was given was in French, so I could not read anything about a charge. This needs to be fixed - thanks.

I was given a 10 foot truck although I reserved at 17. I took the truck because it was the only one they had. My move was complicated and tiresome. When I returned the truck I was tired and achy and ready to fuss. Tanasha eliminated that. As soon as I told her I was given the wrong truck she made it right, effortlessly. They will definitely get my business again.

I was overcharged and then was told that a refund would be put in then nothing happened. When I called was rushed off the phone like the person did not want to help me.

There was a lot of confusion about my truck rental even though I had called ahead of time and verified everything and I had done online check in. We left late because the employee had to call the other store because she insisted that her facility did not do 1 way rentals. I told her I was told since there was not a truck available at the facility I originally made the reservation (a month ago) that I was told to come there. She was polite but it definitely slowed us down. What I really did not like is that I was sent a text where to drop off the truck in Raleigh ( we couldn’t get a copy of the receipt because there was computer trouble) and we had to make a 25 minute (17 mile) trip to return it. When we got there, I asked the employee about why we had to travel 50 minutes round trip to return the truck and she said there were lots of other return sites way closer. This was a waste of my time and gas. By the way, I was sent an email too that had a link for me to click on to see where to return it and it was a broken link. Overall, it was a frustrating day.

Far too expensive! There should also be an option for rental less than a day. Seems unfair to be charged so extravagantly for only a couple of hours!

Have employees be aware of all trucks/equipment rented out at the time!! We were told on thing and charged another!!! This has been about a month ago.... When we called the day and time it was due the guy who answered had no clue what we were talking about at all as far as what we were instructed to do by the lady the day before.. If we would have only dealt with the wonderful lady who gave us the quote and all information for our rental, our review would have been excellent BTW, she was great... She advised us that we could have the whole rental for 50$ and that if we were a little late (past 3) getting it back to park it and put the keys in the box... Gave her a 100$ BILL (50$ for rental and 50$ for the DEPOSIT) The following day we call to let the office know that we were running and hour behind and would have it back no later than 4:30 and the guy who answered tells us it would be 94$ (I think, 90 something anyway) MORE for another days rental if not back on time..... At this point we were trying to QUICKLY finish up moving and after hearing this were honestly confused so my fiance and her mom stopped helping and drove up to the location (Old White Owl location by cemetery) to ask exactly why we would be charged another day for bringing it back at 430-5!?!?! After ALL THAT we end up being advised to do exactly what the lady said in the beginning of this transaction... Park it and leave the keys... AND AGAIN, after all of the miscommunication we did not get a dollar$ back from the rental.... Communication between employees and what CUSTOMER SERVICE or deals they give customers by word of mouth need to actually be given. We maybe should have been charged a late fee of 10-20$ for the 1 HOUR, 2 HOURS MAX extra we had it but instead didnt get even a call afterwards explaning why we couldnt come get our deposit or anything..... I honestly did not realize how angry I was about this situation until I saw my email for a UHAUL review... Won't be using this location again... I have always used U haul for moving needs and recommended. It all comes down to I was told one price and charged another and THAT is not right. Especially during the stressful time of moving. You may have lost a loyal customer U Haul. 50$ is a lot of money to me.....

I reserved a 26 ft truck and when I arrived to get my truck there was no truck there. Horrible experience. I don’t understand why when you reserve a truck it is not available.

I received a phone call from U-HAUL while I was in line at a different U-haul to pick up my truck. They said the location where I reserved my truck did not have my truck in their inventory. I was in line for over 25 minutes even though I arrived at the scheduled appointment time. They advised I go to the Old Mill Storage location, so I did and they were fantastic!!! Friendly and Prompt. I will definitely use them again!!! But Unfortunately U-HAUL's online appointment system SUCKS!!! I wasn't the only person who was the victim of overbooking... talked to at least three others.
