It's not a U-Haul location, so no one is checking the truck when it gets dropped off. The brakes were garbage, the alignment was garbage, the suspension was garbage, and the check engine light was going on and off the whole drive. This truck needs a lot of maintenance/repair or be put out to pasture.

Even you really want to know how messed up it was call me
Chris HThe staff at the Staples Corner Store were polite, the logistical failures and lack of communication from U-Haul have been unacceptable. My original pick-up location was moved to the Staples Corner Store. I was subsequently asked by a U-Haul representative if I would tow a car transport trailer to my final destination, and I agreed. I requested that the trailer be brought to the Staples Corner Store to avoid a 60-mile round trip, and I was assured this would be handled. However, upon arrival: - The store staff had no knowledge of the trailer. - Moving supplies (pads and dollies) from my reservation were not available, as this location is only a drop-off site. - I was eventually informed the trailer had a flat tire and was directed to a different U-Haul location. The experience at the second location was equally poor. The associate was dismissive, claimed he could not help with the trailer, and only had a fraction of the pads I required. After calling U-Haul to report these issues, I was told an area manager would contact me within 24 to 48 hours. It has now been five days, and I have not received a call. Furthermore, when I went to a third location (A2Z) on Sunday to fulfill my agreement to transport the trailer, the process took over an hour. This delay resulted from equipment combination restrictions and driver’s license errors that required multiple calls to distribution and the local dispatch center. While I received a $50 credit for my assistance, it did not adequately compensate for the significant time, 40-minute diversions, and frustration caused by these repeated failures. I realized the main problem: U-Haul has no competition. Without competition, they have no reason to improve their customer service.
Michael MThey was rude about letting my 3 year use the bathroom and the truck was nasty inside. Didn't offer if we need extra miles or anything to make sure we don't go over our limits. Knowing we was leaving out of texas to north of Arkansas
