My problem was the online reservation. The first location that I made a reservation at did not have the trailer i wanted when I called them to confirm. The second location had the trailer, but not the pads that I had ordered. What is the use of online reservations if you cannot get the right information. After having a close pickup location for 6vweeks the location was changed the day before cauding me to drive anout 20 mile extra. The pickup location was in a convenient store with one guy working the counter and the uhaul checkout. He never walked out with me to check on the uhaul or nothing.MaryKate-Robert K.
I was pleased with use of the uhaul, but what I wasn't pleased with was that I had to go to 4 different locations to pick up the auto transport because the office I was dealing with forgot to inform me that all the locations in my area were going to be closed last minute. Wasn't allowed to pick up my reservation up either, had to drive 40 plus minutes to the closet location to be turned around to go to a different one 30 minutes away... and to make things worse they wanted to reschedule or wait a day or 2Oliver M.

The drop off location was convenient to the home. However it was not the nicest of places no one to help they wanted the exterior wire off of the trailer. And you basically drop the trailer in the mud in the back for many attended. My biggest issue with this whole experience was I had no trailer lights on the trailer my entire 1145 mile trip. I had to have my wife follow me and a friend in front of me so I would not cause an accident due to having no lighting turn signals or brake lights. The trailer seems to have a ground fault issue but I was not told about that when I picked up the trailer. Customer service in this entire process has been horrible through the 800 number and the original pick up locations which should've been close to my home. Finally a supervisor was able to get me the location I did pick up that and luckily it wasn't as far it was still 65 miles each direction to pick up this trailer. U-Haulâ€˜s customer service has really gone into the toilet and I am not happy with the whole situation. Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with people hanging up on you, not returning your phone calls, nobody offering a solution, or just Or just having a general customer service skills. I guess U-Haul just figures they have the corner on the market and nobody else rents trailers like that for that kind of convenience so they can do what they want when they want how they want and not treat people fairly.Stephen N.
Only one person running the food market, drive up window, and then will assist with U-Haul hook up. Waited almost an hour, Need more people to help out. Another Customer and I tried to help each other. My original reservation was in Corpus Christi. They indicated I had to go to another site. That site sent me out to Calallen 10 miles away.That site gave away the trailer I reserved. SO much for communication. It would be nice to get a phone call ahead of time or text or Email indicating where I need to go. I wasted almost 3 hours being sent to different places. I even did the on line check in a day before. So much for speeding up my check in. The last 3 rentals I had no one called me, or text, or Emailed me to confirm reservation the day before. I was not a satisfied Customer. I tried to call U-Haul ahead of time to confirm my reservation. No one seems to answer local phones. Everything goes to call center. Call center could not help me but said they would, they never called back. Very very disappointed with U-Haul. Since I ran into multiple issues with my rental tells me there are underlining issues with U-Haul. Need good communication with Customer and between U-Haul rental sites. Need good leadership as well since operations seems to be lacking.Joe L.

I was supposed to have a contactless pick up but instead I had to go in and talk to the vendor and answer questions then sign the agreement. I was supposed to get the contract emailed to me but I never received it.Gerardo S.
First, U-Haul moved my selected pickup location. I never want to use this one because the service is terrible, but U-Haul moved me without my consent. I had a reservation at 8:00 AM and the location did not even open up until almost 8:30 AM. Rep kept stopping the rental process with me to sell scratch-offs and cigarettes to other customers who arrived after I did and provide instruction to his assistant for the convenience store. I had reserved 2 dozen blankets and none were available. I had to make another trip to this location several hours later to pick up blankets. it is hard to start packing and loading the truck when no RESERVED blankets were available. The interior of the truck was dirty and I had to clean it before I could use it. Complete and total fail by this location AND U-Haul. Not sure I would let this location represent my business if I were U-Haul.Karch B.
The equiptment was damaged there was no inspection done and they endangered peoples lives. I had to buy a hotel and wait for the car dolly to be replaced due to severe damage to the straps. They could have killed some one. I waited an hour and half just to get my truck and trailer because the liquor store only had one person and he could not even tell me how to hook it up. Where to start, from the get go U-HAUL had crappy customer service. I've used U-Haul many times for my many moves with the military with no issues but they fell on their face on this one. I made a reservation for a 20' truck and auto transport 6 weeks in advanced. Less than 24 hours prior to pick up they call and tell me they don't have the right equipment in the area. This results in me making a number of calls to U-Haul to make them find the right equipment and then making a significant drive to get it all while trying to pack. Then I get to the pick up location which is a sketchy gas station and try to get the equipment. U-Haul didn't add the right equipment again, but luckily this store had what i was looking for. This change took over an hour to do, while also meaning the equipment wasn't ready. When I finally got the keys to the truck and trailer. I find out that it's located in a muddy field. And they weren't connected. And I had no assistance backing the truck up to the trailer. I also reserved furniture pads and the location didn't have the number I need, nor have them ready when I got there. To cap it off, this is the first time i have received a truck with something not close to a full tank. (Less than half) Not a huge deal as you return it with the same amount of gas, but annoying. To cap off the whole experience, U-Haul changed my drop off location without notifying me. Terrible experience all around. They need to fix all these bugs for others.Christopher I.

TD had a turn signal that wasn't working (was not the connection), emergency chain "hook" was broken, and two of the chains that are used for securing the vehicle was missing. Lady at the location was very polite, but I do recommending getting these items fixed on the TD.Joshua M.
