These smaller U-Haul locations provide very poor service. The customer has to attach/detach the trailer, move the trailer into position manually, and hook up the trailer themselves.Staff was rude. Further, the trailer exterior was covered in mud and dirt.

It took 15 mins. to enter my drivers license and credit card information. I received 9 blankets and when I told them about it he gave me 3 more blankets without saying anything of giving me any apologizes. This location was not customer friendly. It was like I was bothering them. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

THE LOCATION WAS FINE, HOWEVER IT WAS NOT THE LOCATION THAT WAS ON MY CONTRACT. I CALLED THE ORIGINAL LOCATION THE DAY BEFORE AND THEY SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE A TRUCK FOR ME - THEY TOLD ME TO CALL CORPORATE. I CALLED AND WAS MOVED TO THIS LOCATION, HOWEVER, IF I HADN'T CALLED I WOULD HAVE GONE TO THE ORIGINAL LOCATION - SINCE NO ONE FROM UHAUL HAD CALLED ME IN ADVANCE. THE TRUCK LOOKED WELL MAINTAINED, HOWEVER, IT RAINED THE ONE NIGHT I HAD THE TRUCK AND WATER GOT INTO IT - I HAD TO THROW AWAY A NEW MATTRESS BECAUSE IT GOT SO WET.

It's off a used car lot. The truck served its purpose. The people were genuine and old fashioned. The charged me appropriately. They did keep pushing me to take a van instead of the truck which was concerning evening telling me it wasn't there after I verified it the day before. Maybe it's because I had requested it for 6 hours and they didn't want to deal with the opportunity cost. In the end everything worked out everything fit perfectly and affordable.

Easy and no problem rental

I did a one way reservation and was suppose to pickup from Norwalk which is less than .5 miles from my apartment. I was called the day before by a rep from UHAUL and told to pickup in Ridgefield, CT (17+ miles away). When I just asked a simple question of why that was I was confronted with a firm attitude from the customer service rep. Because I needed to move I accepted it. When I arrived at my 9am pickup time in Ridgefield the franchise owner was not there, I called the customer service line, they tried to reach the franchise owner at 2 different numbers to no avail. I waited for over and hour, along with many other customers who were also suppose to pickup in Norwalk! I phoned the customer service line and the rep told me to go to Danbury because they had 10 different one way trucks there and gave me a $20 credit. (Danbury was another 6 miles away, all back roads) Total distance travelled was now 25+ miles when it was supposed to be .5!!! When I arrived in Danbury the man told me he didn't have 12 moving blankets, only 6 and had no idea why I got such a good rate on the truck and you guys were "making no money off of me". When he grabbed the blankets he found an additional 3 or 4 and asked me to pay him $5 cash for them, when I had already paid for 12 blankets. The icing on the cake is when I started to use to blankets, cock roaches both dead and alive fell out of your moving blankets and scurried throughout my new apartment in New York City. So now without even being in my apartment 24 hours, I have cock roaches because of YOUR COMPANY. And your company has the audacity to charge me for missing blankets after you infested my apartment with roaches? Who would touch/ return blankets that were littered with cock roaches. I will never use UHAUL again and I will make sure that any friend, family member, or foe I have never uses UHAUL. I am seeking a full refund and want a call or e-mail back today or I am going to consider taking this matter to small claims court and we will see what a court of law has to say about this debacle, my guess is I will fair EXTREMELY well.

this pick up place was fine but somehow uhaul changed my pick up location and email they sent after my initial confirmation of requested pick up location went to the spam folder. Mutual motors was able to supply truck but could not remove reservation that uhaul changed pick up location on. so i received several calls/texts about picking up the truck at the wrong location. I called and was transferred to several different departments and I still was getting texts that I am late for pick up of truck (at wrong pick up spot) s I already had the truck from the correct place.. \

Didn't appear to be a real UHaul location. How to wait for someone to come by at 11am on a Saturday, and he knew very little. We had order a dolly but none was provided.
