The app was very confusing. It would have been easier to do it all in person. The clerk was not able to do anything but hand me the keys.

Great customer service
Connie NThe instructions from U-Haul indicated that the truck would be available for pickup without having to see a clerk. I was provided a code to unlock a pad lock on the back of the vehicle and obtain the keys. The pad lock didn't open after nearly 30 minutes of trying I called U-Haul, and they directed me to the clerk inside the gas station. He was a bit rude but did unlock the pad lock and then provided us the key, which was not in the back of the van, but he had it the whole time at the window. The INSIDE of the windows was so dirty that I couldn't see well out of them and had to clean them before driving. I also reserved an appliance dolly when I reserved online, and this was neither in the truck or available at this site.
Chris RI tried to do self check in, the keys weren't where they said they would be. Then when I found the keys (per the uhaul agent on the phone) there were no keys in any of the 4 locks. When I went inside to ask if the person inside could help me I was told no. After that the uhaul customer service agent called and she said the woman could help. She reluctantly handed me the keys. The uhaul then wouldn't even start after being given keys. I had to call uhaul back and get them on teh phone. There were additional trucks there but the woman in the building said she couldn't switch them out and was unwilling to help. I finally was given keys to a new truck. It was a truly bad customer experience. Incredibly disappointed. Not only was the area not clean around the trucks but it wasn't safe. There was broken glass and human fecal matter all over the ground. It also smelled strongly of urine making me question how clean the actual truck itself was. Do not recommend this location AT ALL!!!
Leanna COdd people hanging around u haul trucks. Scary people walking along truck asking for money. No blankets or handtrucks available at location, so why were they listed as an available option.
