Horrible experience. Was rushed through the whole signing phase. Had questions about insurance and was literally forced to make a snap yes/no decision in about 10 seconds (the guy kept saying in a loud voice whether I wanted the insurance, proceeded by the only options of yes and no; rather intimidating). The auto transport was improperly connected to the U Haul by one of the workers. We did not realize this until we were unhooking it at our first destination. Who knows what could have happened if the transport became unhitched. We did not think to check the hookup, assuming that an approved U Haul location knew how to properly attach an auto transport. In summary, if this were the last location available for a U Haul pickup, I would elect to not go with U Haul and just find another moving company.

Charged for Gas even when I have refueled the truck and have pictures of odometer/fuel before and after and receipt of Gas. I had to call multiple times to location and they routed to customer service. No refund yet.

The gentleman that helped me hook up the trailer was very helper and pleasant to work with. However, the man at the counter was very rude and answering the phone and would start a sentence and then would interrupt and just pick it up. The check in took 25 min just because he was answering phone calls.

My only issue was after calling to confirm our reservation 3 times, they still had our return day a day early. Good thing we caught that. But overall a wonderful way to take all supplies camping!!

A call to them explaining the situation and I am told that he will figure it out...then I get charged 1400 on top of the 336$ I was already charged!!! Robbery! Literally stealing money from my account!

The location was great, but I spent over 2 hours on the phone with customer service to resolve an issue, where I spent most of that time on hold, or talked to associates that were unable to help resolve my issue. My call was repeatedly transferred to others where I had to again wait on hold, & twice the call was dropped & I had to start the process over. (I feel you should have called me back once the call was dropped.) I was given a number to call if the call was dropped, after the 1st dropped call, but that number was not in service. You are a large, popular, & national company, there is no reason for this poor level of customer service. Get it together!

This location was hard to get into. There where a lot of vehicles parked in the parking lot that was associated with the mechanic shop. I received a welcome call notifying me that the original location didn’t have the truck that I wanted. The lady was very kind and helpful. When I asked if I could get comped for the extra miles she flat out said no. This new location added 20 extra miles onto the route which cost me an additional $20.00 They did upgrade the truck because what I wanted wasn’t available. I’m completely happy with Uhaul except the mileage compensation.

Excellent ... I accidentally rented a 15' moving van (oops) at a different location but needed a pick up truck. I called and U-Haul took care of it, sent me to the place nearby to get the pick up. It was clean and ready to go. Thank you!!

We had several complications with this rental process. We tried to complete the entire process ahead of time, but the program glitched and wouldn't let us complete it. We drive to the indicated location to find that the order "had been canceled by that location". There was a debate between location and phone operator as to who canceled. Meanwhile we're wasting precious time. We were then told the nearest location was in Draper, the opposite direction of where we were going. Luckily once we got to the new location, he had the reservation and everything went smoothly there. The employee was very knowledgeable. We did pass another dealer on the way to our destination that would've been much more convenient and they had the size we needed. We weren't given that option. Then we get back to drop off that night and called for instructions on how to return after hours. They said to take a picture and that was it. Later I find out that we should have done the app to upload the picture and have the locator determine if we were at the right drop off location. By that time we were home and the app didn't work so I tried completing the return on my computer. It told me I would be contacted within 24 hours. The only contact I had was an invoice, which apparently indicates that the return was ok. I wasn't too impressed with uhaul. Not sure if I'll use them again.
