This was not the original location I rented from and I had to drive an additional 15 miles to get the truck I reserved. The mileage was not my concern as much as the time it took to get out to the truck and back to my house to load up. This added an additional hour onto my trip which was disappointing. The original location i was supposed to get my truck from was .5 miles from my house.

The oil-change light was on. I did not know that I was going to be charged for insurance, this was not explained to me prior to signing. I was charged for cleaning although I turned the truck clean. Bad customer service.

Promised vehicle was ready at agreed time. Employee was friendly and helpful. Vehicle was clean, free of odors and easy to use. All in all it was a very positive experience. Will use this location again if the need arises.

I arrived Compass storage for pick-up 15mins before the time I have scheduled( schedule at 2 pm), however, the office is locked and no one is there until 2:20 pm. Once returned, said she knew no one would come and pick-up at 2 pm so she left for food. I booked a 10" uhaul, and checked the availability to make sure I get this size, however, I got the 15" uhaul and the staff said the 10" are all out so I am not getting one. This is ridiculous. I booked a 10" and confirmed with staff twice to make sure I can get a 10", because the 15" is higher than the garage clearance, and I don't live on the first floor, which makes the move extremely difficult. So basically, I got an email confirmation which states the pick up time and uhaul size, but I didnt get the uhaul at expect time nor the right size. The truck is full of smoking smell.

My only issue was that the distance to drop off at discounted location was 17.5 miles each way rather than 9 miles as shown on the U-Haul website.

Passenger side mirror not secured. Screw was striped and rusted. Mirror pulled out. Called store(6:30 pm) and was told they saw the notation it needed fixed but thought it was that day. Also tail light right in rear not working. We duct taped the mirror to drive it. I think I should of had a discount on my bill as this was plainly not inspected to be rented out. Will not rent a U Haul again.

Better training for the employees. I ha e never gotten a uhaul before that was U-Share and one of your employees was very rude about it. It took me 45 mins to get the Uhaul because no one told me it was all online and when I asked questions I was given attitude. The uhaul was fine but you need more help customer service wise. The location I was at was in East Lansing Michigan on Hunsaker dr.

I was disappointed when I arrived at the East Lansing, MI location on August 17th. I was about ten minutes early, but there was no one in the office and it was closed. Another customer was waiting too. Since I gave my credit card information over the phone to reserve, I was concerned. The person came back, but, as I said, it concerned me. The van drove well and did what I needed. However, when I checked my bank statement, it showed the rental charge plus a $30 charge. I am upset about this because, when I rented the vehicle, the gas gauge showed a little over half full. The U-Haul employee confirmed this. When I returned the vehicle the same day, I made sure that it was a little over half full. I believe that I was overcharged. I have not had time to contact the rental location. I could not find a listing by telephone. Please let know what you intend to do about this situation. I returned the van after business hours. Thank you
