I reserved a Uhaul online about two weeks ago. It was the worst experience I ever had. The location on the store hours was completely wrong online from what the actual store hours were. Online it posted that the store closed at 7 in fact it close at 530. I reserved my truck for 6pm. So unfortunately I could not get my truck at the time. So I had to call around to find another location to rent from. So I was able to find a place to get a truck from. However, they only had one size truck left. Which was a bigger truck so I had to spend more money than I wanted to. I finally got the truck but there was an issue dropping the truck off because two of the locations that I was told to drop the truck off could not receive the truck because it was too big. So I had to spend more money putting gas in the truck just to find a location to drop the truck off. It was a horrible experience

Talk to the customer about the rental process and any additional charges that will be made. I was charged a total of $130 for a truck I had 24 hours. I did not feel comfortable dropping the key in the box and the location opened at 12 p.m.; I was there before they opened and was charged an extra day @ $40, after paying $75 at pickup.

The folks at Regency were great! I'd choose them again However, I was very upset with Uhaul online reservation system. 1st: you changed my pick-up point after accepting the reservation. 2nd: the reservation was accepted for 9am and it was not updated after the change with the fact that Regency does not open until 9:30 so I wasted 45mins waiting the parking lot.

The person was rude when i called to tell them i would be late. Also. I didnt get insurance when we first talked with in about 2mins later i asked well could i add it ahe stated no in which i called customer service and the advised me since I haven’t left the lot. Yet the office yet. I will be able yo add it on within 30mins. She then processed it in ins after debating with me. This was an unpleasant experience and would not recommend anyone yo come back to this particular location

Didn't assist with trailer removal..

The attendants were friendly however, I called ahead to ask tow ball size and was given an inaccurate size which required me to drive 30 minutes home and 30 minutes back in order to pick up trailer. As a result of this I couldn't access my storage unit due to missing the 8pm access cutoff. Now I had to wait until the next morning to load up. The trickle effect of this minor detail may seem trivial but it caused much delay for a one day move. In addition to that, I was told I could return the trailer to any location in Wilmington. The first location I went to on Market st simply said "sorry, I got too many on my lot, head couple miles to Jacksonville st." Upon arrival here, I was again told "sorry, we're full." The next location at Lloyd's which was approximately 15 miles opposite direction of my destination was very nice and did a quick inspection and had me on my way. It was a bit frustrating from start to finish. The reservation line was courteous and helpful but when I tried to do the "express check-in" the reference number was invalid. The trailer served its purpose and did not have any damage or problems but the appearance of it was very poorly maintained for a company such as uhaul. None of these frustrations would deter me from doing business with you again in the future but I feel it's important to give honest feedback for improving other customers experiences.

I reserved a 20 ft truck 2 weeks before my moving date. A few days prior to moving, u haul calls to let me know that my location will not have my truck available. They send me to a furniture store that was not even open at the time that I needed to pick up my truck. I called this store to ask if we can still pick up at my originally requested time and they assured me that I could. I received an email confirmation that stated my pick up time was an hour and fifteen minutes later. I called this location again and they reassured me I could still pick up when desired. I arrive at the store on time and I had to wait 40 minutes for anyone to show up and wait on us. Some of the employees arrived after 30 minutes, but they sat in their cars on their phones while we waited at the door. When we were finally waited on, the owner of the store did not greet us friendly and simply asked what we wanted. When we sat down to pay and get paperwork, he said that our appointment was not until 10:30, which is an hour and a half after the requested time that they assured me that they could still honor. I am very displeased with the service of uhaul and the stores they use. From the endless pushing of moving services I had to go through while reserving my truck online, to the incompetent representative I could hardly understand on the phone, up until waiting for 40 minutes to be greeted coldly and be told that we were wrong for coming to our appointment an hour and a half early, I was very regretful of choosing uhaul.
