I did not request insurance during my reservation. When I showed up at the location for pick up, the gentleman added insurance and charged me without my knowledge. I requested a refund for the insurance, he said he will cancel the charge and he never did. Also, the price for renting U-haul equipment has gone up way too high, and they don’t even do routine maintenance unless is extremely necessary. Additionally the website to take pictures of the equipment during pick up, doesn’t work. The camera just turns into a black screen, leaving the customer open to liability for pre-existing damages.
