As I picked up this rental on a weekend, instructions to me (email) did not give any information about loading the U-haul mobile app and setting things up prior to pickup. This caught me off guard and I had to call the business and they walked me thru what to do. The App was then unable to pre-load the dropoff location that I had arranged (with discount) and asked me to pick another location in order to move thru the app and get to the pick-up process and dropbox code.... all while being on the phone waiting for u-haul support. Finally got the truck and the phone agent was able to change the drop off location back to where I had originally booked in the reservation. Also got the online support people to waive the employer verification as this was a Sunday and no verification would happen on the weekend. This was not a good best-effort by U-haul for sure.... And I'm a software developer of applications and mobile apps.... Not impressed with process. But glad it worked out and we moved the family furniture from GA the AL successfully.
