My pick up location was originally 1 mile from my house, but they moved it to this location, which is 14 miles from my house. I called and asked for milage to be added to my contract to compensate, since I would be paying $0.99 per mile. The first person said that was not possible but that they could give me to customer service. I asked for the customer service number so I could call after I got off work, but they said that was not possible either. When I spoke to Teresa in customer service, she said she put 30 miles on the contract for me. When I got the email about the updated contract, I couldn't find the added milage anywhere, so I called again to confirm. Amy at the Coldwater location said she could not see the milage on there, but she said she added a note on the contract for me so the milage would be added. The next day, I went to pick up my uhaul at 7am, which was my scheduled pick up time (Storamerica was closed until 9am). I could not find the keys in my truck, and the appliance dolly i rented was not in it. Also, there was food left by the previous user in the cab. I called uhaul, and they were unable to help me find the keys or another truck. I returned at 9am to pick up the uhaul. Rich was there and notified me that the keys were in the visor, but the dolly i had rented was in the building and therefore inaccessible to me until they opened at 9am. Rich could not find the milage promised to me on the contract, but he did find Amy's note about it. Later in the day, Rich called me back to find out who had told me about the milage. He then called me a second time to notify me that the milage would be processed as a refund. I got an email from a uhaul manager confirming this. It seems that Rich from Storamerica ran this to ground for me, which is awesome. So in conclusion, I am happy that Rich ran things to ground for me about the milage refund, but I am extremely unhappy with Uhaul's end of things. They moved me to a very inconvenient location with hours of operation outside of my pick up time, and they never successfully added the milage promised to my by customer service until Rich ran it to ground and got a hold of a manager. I also used uhaul in August, and they moved my pick up location out of the way so I had to recoordinate my timing with moving things, although that time they did add the milage. I wish the reservation system would lock in your locations by what you choose or within 5 miles, rather than 14 miles, or in the case of my August reservation, 25 miles.

Check in was delayed due to computer issues and the store employee having to try multiple times to complete the transaction. He called someone on the phone who was able to resolve the problem. Only negative was the check in process took about a half hour instead of a few minutes and cut into my moving time.
