We returned the truck cleaner and with a lot more gas and got an invoice for $25.00 cleaning fee. Not sure what this is about, but would like a call regarding this. The gentleman there was extremely rude and short

Uhaul charged for things that did not occur, such as a toll charge when there is no toll on or near the route driven. Upon calling Uhaul, after the 50 minute wait time, I was told they were not able to assist with toll charges and a manager would call me back. 7 days later, this has not happened. I do not recommend Uhaul and will not use this company again.

Ordered truck to be picked up in Columbia City, IN - none available. Had to drive to Fort Wayne to pick up at 9am on 8/4/18. Arrived and waited until 9:45 for store to open. Called Uhaul 9:05 - on the phone for 45 minutes. They finally got a hold of owner and showed up at 9:50 (ish). I had paid movers show up at my house at 10am. Had to pay for an additional hour - $100 - had to pay for mileage from Fort Wayne - still waiting for that bill. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Absolutely horrible.

They lost my order, charged me more than what my order online stated and it took 30 mins to pick up the UHaul. The young lady was trying to help but it seemed like management didn't really care.

Charged gas fee when returned to proper fuel level. Contatced Uhaul and they would not remove the fee. I have used U haul many times with no issues.

Make sure there is someone there when you pick up your rental,I was supposed to pick up my truck at 9 amyhere was knowone there,i had to contact the owner,did not get my truck until 11:30, 2 hrs having people stand around doing nothing waiting for the truck.was not even offered a dis count,still had the truck back by 5, so i would not get charged.

My pick up location was originally 1 mile from my house, but they moved it to this location, which is 14 miles from my house. I called and asked for milage to be added to my contract to compensate, since I would be paying $0.99 per mile. The first person said that was not possible but that they could give me to customer service. I asked for the customer service number so I could call after I got off work, but they said that was not possible either. When I spoke to Teresa in customer service, she said she put 30 miles on the contract for me. When I got the email about the updated contract, I couldn't find the added milage anywhere, so I called again to confirm. Amy at the Coldwater location said she could not see the milage on there, but she said she added a note on the contract for me so the milage would be added. The next day, I went to pick up my uhaul at 7am, which was my scheduled pick up time (Storamerica was closed until 9am). I could not find the keys in my truck, and the appliance dolly i rented was not in it. Also, there was food left by the previous user in the cab. I called uhaul, and they were unable to help me find the keys or another truck. I returned at 9am to pick up the uhaul. Rich was there and notified me that the keys were in the visor, but the dolly i had rented was in the building and therefore inaccessible to me until they opened at 9am. Rich could not find the milage promised to me on the contract, but he did find Amy's note about it. Later in the day, Rich called me back to find out who had told me about the milage. He then called me a second time to notify me that the milage would be processed as a refund. I got an email from a uhaul manager confirming this. It seems that Rich from Storamerica ran this to ground for me, which is awesome. So in conclusion, I am happy that Rich ran things to ground for me about the milage refund, but I am extremely unhappy with Uhaul's end of things. They moved me to a very inconvenient location with hours of operation outside of my pick up time, and they never successfully added the milage promised to my by customer service until Rich ran it to ground and got a hold of a manager. I also used uhaul in August, and they moved my pick up location out of the way so I had to recoordinate my timing with moving things, although that time they did add the milage. I wish the reservation system would lock in your locations by what you choose or within 5 miles, rather than 14 miles, or in the case of my August reservation, 25 miles.
