The staff was friendly and very helpful. The issue was with uhaul company system. First, I reserved for a location closer to where my house was and where i would be storing my stuff. it was changed to a different location a day later and then 2 days later changed to a location far away from where my house is and where I would be storing my stuff. when I arrived on the move day, I arrived at 0910 am to pick up the truck. We checked in and the truck was dispatched. The customer rep and I discussed the 2 changes and she recommend I call and see about the extra mileage I would be incurring. I did, the customer rep on the phone cancelled my dispatch and told me to register again and have a new dispatch. Well, thats where it all went wrong. At approximately 930 am we started this process and it would not work. She attempted 6 times with no success, she called for assistance from another service provider across the river and they were unable to help her. All this time, I was trying to log onto the app and it kept crashing. She called traffic for help and they told her to call someone else, she drew the line with that response and demanded assistance as I had been waiting an hour at this time. It took another cancelation of my reservation and clearing everything from my original account to finally getting this resolved. I spent 1 hour and 23 minutes getting a truck. I was given a reduced rate of 79 cents per mile instead of 99 cents. This was not the locations fault, it was the Uhaul company itself in having an insufficient app to process registration and dispatch. After this experience, I will find another company for all my moves. Karen at Wilsey rd was calm and professional and she did amazing in getting me a truck.

I dropped the rental off Sunday evening, a day earlier than scheduled. Location was closed, this was expected so used the key drop. Was VERY DISAPPOINTED that I was charged an extra fee for an after hours drop off.
wilfred hEfficient and painless rental, courteous service. Only issue was when contract was explained, if I dropped off vehicle earlier than the agreed rental time, I would be reimbursed for the days I didn’t use this. Come to find out from U-Haul, this doesn’t apply to one way vehicle rentals. People should definitely explain how the whole process works, especially when you think you’re saving money by returning early. Seems to me to be a bit of a scam coming from U-Haul, they need to do better as a company.
Jason GThe people seemed great. The checkin - checkout process seemed longer than it should, but they did mention it was a new system for them. My issue is with the software. I wanted to rent a dolly, and when I put in the model of the car, and year, it recommended a ride on trailer, and said a dolly wasn’t the best choice for my particular car. Turned out, my car was too low to get up on the trailer, so I wasted time and $100 for this rental. That is a flaw in the software, as it listed the exact year, make and model of my car., and made the recommendation. Not sure why I am expected to pay for that… Also, the parking lot is crushed rock, and there weren’t any wheel chocks around. When I went to unhook, the trailer pushed forward for a nice dent on my back bumper. The location is tight, but I have experience backing up trailers. Again, no issue with the people.
