I recommend that when someone rents a car transport that they show the person renting it that you need to remove the fender to be able to get out of the car.

No notification that the location was changed. I just happened to look at my account on line to see it. My pick up time was listed an hour after the location closed. When I talked to the kid at counter, he told me that I could not get the equipment that I had ordered a week earlier and that I would have to take truck and pick up at another location (which I would be charge mileage for). Also did not tell me until I was there that the truck did not have a ramp.

I would say that you need more lighting. I am a female and was alone and when taking pictures of everything it was kinda Erie because there wasn't enough light where the trucks Was park and behind it

I feel I was GROSSLY over charged, rushed through the rental process and not shown the truck beforehand. Somehow I was charged $30 in fuel for 5 gallons. Not sure who made up the gas prices that day. The customer service agent I dealt with was extremely rude and condescending. You took over $200 of my money for two one day rentals in the same city (6 miles one way) and a quarter tank of gas. NEVER AGAIN. The truck rental was $29.99.

Staff was uneducated on how to apply a gift certificate. Since it did not take online I asked during pickup and was told this would be applied on drop off. I questioned this, so on my travel my wife and I called U-Haul customer service and, after long waits and holds, was told the certificate would be applied at drop off. I go to drop off and the drop off facility did not know how to apply certificate so they called the UHaul area manager, Mark, and he said certificate should have been applied at pick up and there was nothing he could or would do. Mark was very short and very rude. This certificate was given by our realtor to help move, move is over and there is no foreseeable need to rent in the future. So I called UHaul customer service and she said there was nothing she could do but make notes and file grievance. I did get an email from Roger Thompson with UHaul asking for the certificate which I promptly forwarded but have yet to hear a response. This now rates as a terrible UHaul experience and I have advised the realtor that he should no longer give UHaul gift certificates as they are a pain in the ass and and equal would be to pass out toilet paper. I do want to go on record that the pick up and drop off locations were nice people but just had no clue about applying a gift certificate. Your real problem is #1 customer service is not empowered to apply a gift certificate, and #2 you have a real dickhead as an area field manager in Gainesville named Mark that should be fired. Jury is out on Roger Thompson who is slow to respond.

Did not refund all of my money. I did not even use all of the mileage that I allotted myself and replaced the gas. Returned truck earlier than I thought and put key in appropriate place. Charged me double and would not return my calls. Called Andrew, the manager at Midgard Storage 1405 McEver Road in Gainesville, GA 30504 and left message twice about price discrepancy.

I was supposed to put stuff in a storage locker I booked through U-Haul I never received a phone call about what unit I was going to but I was told by U-Haul that there would be a Kiosk with my unit number. There was none. So after moving all day and arriving at 7:30 my son and neighbor spent 1 1/2 hours trying to get in and talking to U-Haul. I spent 2 hours on the phone with U-Haul and still we ended up going to another storage unit at 9pm. I will never use U-Haul again the communication was poor and every time I talked to someone I got more information that I didn't have to begin with. Also one of the agents took my credit card number to pay for the unit but there was no evidence in the computer that I paid--very scary.
