The truck was clean put the the check engine light was on they let me take it anyway got 3/4 the way down and it started running rough I mentioned that to were I turned it in at car city in North Carolina the price was outrageous I had to do it anyway I would not recommend U-Haul

The truck was absolutely filthy inside, but what irritated me the most was that I had put in $10 worth of gas and only had went 14 miles. The needle was well above where the gas gauge was when I rented the vehicle and the owner still charged my card for gas, which was definitely not acceptable and has not returned a message to me at all asking for a refund for the gas that I had put in.
Deborah BThe station I received my U-Haul from was very unprofessional. I had set up for a mobile pick up and when I got there I finished the instructions and was told to go inside for key. I had already been charged. Person there told me I’d be receiving different truck and had to refund and redo registration. The refund was not available to me right away and they would not give me the truck without payment. But because I was already charged the money was not in my account yet. Did not offer me any accommodation for this. I will be calling to request a refund and or discount for the truck I rented today.
Cameron Bcharge me $20.00 for trailer cable for trailer which should have been on trailer and wasn't. no help to load car or secure car on transport.
Victor TI cant comment on the drop off location as it was closed upon my arrival. It was closed before the hour posted on the door. But I called customer service to complete my return and all went well
