Laura SI will never be renting from U-Haul again. It was an absolute nightmare. First my original reservation location was changed and it wanted me to pick up the box truck at a location 1 hr south from where I reserved it. So I canceled as I was moving an hour north from my location. Then went to a U-Haul dealer and he did not have a one way truck so he made me a reservation at a location 3 miles away. (Good experience with him) I arrive at the pickup location and he was refusing to give me the truck. He wanted me to return the truck to him which was not what I needed nor had reserved. After arguing and explaining to him I had the reservation in my had and I was at his location (he called me from a cell phone) and that I was not wanting nor could drive the truck back he continued to argue with me and telling me he needed the truck the following day. I then asked him again to repeat that he would not give me the truck on a recorded line then he proceeded to follow through with my reservation for a one way 15’ box truck.
