General manager kept saying things that weren’t suppose to be said, was doubting that lights would weren’t work on trailer because he didn’t plug the light adapter on correctly. Felt offended when he kept saying the trailer wouldn’t work on my vehicle & repeating that the lights were not going to work & wasn’t going to let me take the trailer. Lights ended up working while I had to fix the wire & adapter because the general manager didn’t know how to work it. General manager just made things more complicated then what they had to be! Always shop at U-Haul & this was the first time ever having a problem. Usually go to 28th & Burlingame, but they didn’t have what I need to do went to the location on wealthy st & received poor customers Service expirence.

The 17’ truck I ordered was not available at the Community location at 3:30, as it was supposed to be. My hired moving team waited for almost an hour before being sent the Grandville location, where they were able to pick up a 15’ truck. By this time I was paying them for almost an hour and a half to stand around and wait. It was after 5:00 by the time they were able to get the truck to the location of the move. At this point we were way behind schedule and my movers had other commitments and were unable to complete my entire move. Now I’m left with half of my things at the old place and half at the new place and I’m out of money to complete my move. That hour and a half of wasted time made the difference in being able to complete my move. What do you suggest I do now?

Thank you to manager Keith and his team for excellent customer service. They worked with me to evaluate my moving requirements, identify appropriate options, and coordinate the right equipment for the job. All charges were clearly explained up front. The van was spotless and a great ride. Returning the vehicle was seamless. The location is easy to find, with sufficient space to maneuver and park. I highly recommend the place and plan to contact them first for future moving and storage needs. Well done!

Dropped off after hours. Location had limited space and difficult to get to due to construction.

General manager lacked customer service, needs to keep "glitches" transparent to the customer. Keith/Kevin stated he was contacting corporate and had spoke with three people to get the issue resolved. Fred made one phone call to the Saginaw/Wendy (manager) location to get the issue resolved in 5 minutes. There was a misunderstanding between this location and us.
