Michael LThe owner Muhammad has very bad customer service as well as his employees inside the location. I would avoid this U-Haul location, especially if you’re booking an after-hours/mobile pickup. I had a confirmed 1:00 AM pickup, but the employees inside the gas station refused to give me the key and repeatedly told me to come back when the owner arrived, despite my reservation. It took over 5 hours and multiple calls to U-Haul customer service before the owner, Muhammad, finally instructed them to release the key. When I finally got the truck, it was dirty, smelled bad, and the gear shifter didn’t work properly. The next morning, Muhammad called me insisting the truck had already been returned. Instead of checking the U-Haul system—which would have shown that I had officially extended my rental—he immediately assumed I was wrong and spoke to me rudely. Once he realized his mistake, there was no apology. Overall, this was a very disorganized, unprofessional experience with poor customer service. I would recommend choosing a different U-Haul location.
