We were originally supposed to take it to another location but there was no place to leave the truck. We called the main number and were redirected to the Albemarle location. There were a few trucks there but no building or place to leave the key. A young woman pulled up in her personal car and said that she knew the owner of the lot. She seemed to know what she was doing. She took a picture of the dashboard to send off. She took the key and deposited it across the street. I also took a picture of the dashboard and was surprised to learn that I was being charged for not having enough gas and my picture clearly shows one quarter tank, which is what we started with. I believe this is wrong and unfair. I will be happy to forward my picture to you.

Only talked to the owner on the phone. He had some guy come from across the street come over and “try” to hook up my equipment. He had no idea what he was doing. The whole experience was unprofessional and concerning.
Michael MThe place where you have to go to speak to someone about the trailer rental is a rundown looking very dirty cluttered car repair shop in a not so good section of town. The man working in the repair shop directed me across and up the street to a small building where the auto transport was located. This building as well as the first location had all the windows and doors protected using rebar. I guess it is their way of keeping things safe so I don’t blame them. The main problem I had was that they charged me $40 for “ insurance “ which I neither requested or was asked if I wanted it. I never get this insurance because my insurance covers anything that I tow. Presently I am trying to get a refund.
DOUG BSaturday morning pickup - provide phone number for contacting the owner if not available
Jim BI returned the truck and equipment after hours and the process was easy. The return facility didn't look like a typical U-Haul place and the truck needed to be parked further down the street, then dropping the key in the drop-box. It wasn't a problem at all for me, but I imagine some customers would be taken aback at the location.
