There was some dust in the van when I picked it up so I thought returning it in the same condition would be OK. After emptying the van and sweeping it out I returned it. The bill, sent by email, showed a $25 cleaning fee, though it was no worse than the condition in which I received it. Who determines the standard of dirtyness that warrants a $25 charge?

The whole van smelled like cow. Someone used it to transport a cow or a dead cow. The smell was horrible.

I brought the truck back and the guy seem to busy with his own person phone call. I poured gas when brought it back. But when I tried to tell him he say to me no to low still and walked away to talk on the phone.

This was a location that I had to go as the van I had reserved at another location had not been set up for my pick up. It made an already tight timeline impossibly so. Everytime that I or other event organizers that I know use uhaul there is always a screw up with the reservation as a result uhaul will be a last resort choice for me.

My location pick up changed and no one informed me. Truck was full of water and wet. There was no dolly in the truck and I had to get back and pick it up. Extra $19 charge with no reason????!!!!

Picking up the vehicle was easy; this location is a convenience store and it didn't take long to get through. I rented a Cargo Van and it was clean inside, the mileage and gas level were exactly what was on the paper. Checking the vehicle back in after I was done was a bit more difficult. The clerk seemed a bit rude, he didn't complete the transaction, he just said that the receipt would be emailed to me. The receipt was exactly what I did kilometer wise and the gas level was exactly where I left the vehicle. There was no hidden fees or extra charges. The final price is exactly what I expected. I would recommend this location over the other two in the area! No problems with the rental paperwork or vehicle. It's not a large location, so I would recommend booking in advance.

The van was fairly clean and not a full 'Yes'; but, as I only made 2 round trips of approx. 6 kil ea., I question why I was charged over the anticipated stated over-cost on the contract. I returned the van on time; and, handed the key to the store owners father (as he was filling in for the Sunday) with gas refill up and transaction to be finalized when owner was in at Big Bear on Aberdeen & Dundurn Sts in Hamilton, ON--all as store owner stated because father would not have knowledge of the Van rental procedure) . Certainly the service was great in the convenience store. The guy there was really polite. However i still got an awful experience from the U-haul customer service. The women asked me where was the Dolly in a very rude tone and tried to avoid her responsibility of helping me out. As i thought the store charged me twice, she asked me to contact that store directly and then said bye-bye and hung up the phone immediately, even not asking that "is there anything else i can help you today"
