We reserved a truck from the closest location to our starting point. However, the size truck we needed apparently was not available at this location. We were directed to another U-Haul location to pick up a truck. We were then charged an extra amount ($8) for exceeding the mileage limit. Had we been able to pick up the truck from our initial location we would not have gone over the mileage. We do not feel we should have been responsible for this extra charge. In addition, we returned the vehicle with 3/8 of a tank of gas more than was required. This was pointed out to the worker at the drop off location.
Marie JThe staff was friendly and personable. They made the pick-up experience easy and smooth. They had all the additional items I ordered with the truck. The truck was comfortable and was good on gas, even with a full load.
