Should have been an easy check-in, but it turned into a frustrating and unnecessarily expensive experience. I made a reservation online for 9:30 AM, yet when I arrived it seemed to be a surprise that I was actually there to pick up the truck. I also had to wait around while the clerk dealt with getting the key number. The truck itself wasn't particularly clean. The center console area had a water bottle cap in it, and the cargo area was dirty enough that it looked like the truck had recently been used for landscaping. I did not order a furniture dolly, yet one was included and I was charged $7 for it. I also misunderstood the moving blankets and thought they were something I was supposed to keep, so that was another unnecessary expense. I had the truck back in three hours and attempted to check it in through the app. The system then apparently tried to charge me a $25 cleaning fee, despite the fact that I returned the truck in better condition than I received it. I had to go into the store to address the charge. I've rented from U-Haul before, but this experience was much more complicated and expensive than it needed to be. A rental that should have been a simple pickup and return turned into multiple unnecessary issues and charges.

How U-Haul Reviews Worki was over charged. The truck only had tiny bit of gas, we put $30.00 in gas then got charged for gas. We only had for less then 24 hours and got charged way to much. $172.91 I need someone to contact me pLEASE
KIT WThis location was at a convenience store. I dropped the rental key with the clerk, who barely acknowledged me. She could not answer basic questions about the drop-off. The gas pump (to refill) the rental was not working well. I brought the fuel level back to pre-rental level, but then I was charged an additional $11, I assume was fuel. I’ve rented from U-Haul before. I’ll likely look for an alternative in the future.
