The gentleman who owns Quality Carpet is personable and helpful, the parking lot is nice and big to maneuver equipment around. The building needs a little love, but it's not UHaul property and this is a small town, so it kind of is what it is.

No improvements. The process was simple, both the rental and the return. I accidentally left something of mine in the truck and the owner called and told me I had left it. I was extremely thankful as that was my state essential business letter. Excellent service!!

Quality Carpets is the only UHaul rental in our small town town, so the cleanliness of the facility is not as relevant as its convenience. The gentleman who works there is nice and very accommodating (we've rented from UHaul previously). This time, we used the UHaul app to return the trailer after hours and it was brilliant -- so easy and quick!
This location was great in every aspect, however, this is the not location that I had made the reservation at. I made a reservation online a week before I needed the trailer. I called the place that I made the reservation with the day before pickup only to find out that they did not have the trailer. They told me that I had to call around at some other local places to find the trailer. After being bounced around I was told to call U-Haul directly. The gave me this location which was about a 40 minute drive away for me. This was not Quality Carpet's fault at all. They did a fantastic job and met my needs fully. U-Haul, however, needs to do a much better job with their reservation system. If you offer the option to make a reservation, then that reservation should be able to be met where it was set for. This was a terrible experience with U-Haul.Their system said there was a trailer much closer to my location, which is why I made the reservation in the first place. By the time I found out that the reservation would not be met, I had no other choice than to agree to drive and extra hour and a half there and back to pick up the trailer because I needed it the next day. The U-Haul reps I spoke with seemed very unapologetic about the incredible inconvenience this was.

The day I was supposed to get my truck I called uhaul to confirm my pickup. Nobody knew where my truck was or that I had a reservation (I had booked a month in advance) we ended up having to drive an hour to get the truck because of this. Would be nice to have actually had confirmation of a truck and pickup location before the day I needed it.
Smooth and quick transaction.
The personnel that I rented the u-haul from had trouble with the sliding door. I did not have so much trouble with that as it would not close and stay closed. I lost 3 pieces of furniture because of this. I closed it properly.
The initial rental was perfectly fine but then the fun began. We needed a large truck once we arrived at our destination. I went online to book it while we were enroute to pick it up. I received confirmation that it was available. However when we arrived at the location they did not have one available but said there was another location 8 miles away that possibly had one. We proceeded to that location and had not even arrived at it when I received not 1 but 2 calls stating the truck was available and waiting for me. We arrived at the location and saw the truck sitting there and were so excited that it was. Upon entering the office we were told the truck was not available but that it was reserved by someone else for the next day! I tried calling the number back that had called to confirm my reservation and was connected with the regional office. They were absolutely no help at all and in fact very rude. We took our business to Budget where we were quickly accommodated. This will be where I go for my rental needs from here on out.
Training for all employees who are renting. Better communication. I had asked for the smallest truck..just to get my appliances. When I got there that one was rented.. Had to get a bigger one. So we ended up doing a lot more moving than we were going to. But then the man that rented it to me couldn't get any of my credit cards to go through.. I told him my new address zip and the billing zip of my credit cards were different.. He didn't seem to think that made a difference (? When) but finally he kept saying my cards were bad. Finally he called UHaul office and went over what was going on and it was an error he was making.. ..because of lack of training. In the mean time..I've gotten 2 calls thinking I'm off to the beach..and there are 1 or 2 customers waiting behind me.
