U-Haul changed my pickup location 1 day before pickup with no notice to a new location over an hour away from me - this was a huge pain and required me to take unplanned time off work. The staff at this location was very nice and helpful but U-Haul's corporate policy of changing pickup locations with no notice days after making a reservation is a huge inconvenience for customers.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI made a reservation followed by a call from uhaul saying I could not reserve at that location. My reservation was modified to a location 35 minutes further away. On the day of rental I called to confirm and was informed I could pick up at original location when person who reserved before me returned. Following my use and return I noted I was charged for Safetow, about which I was neither asked nor did I want. Original location confirmed I should have been asked, but it was out of their hands. The whole experience was disappointing.

frank bThere is really no place on this survey for the 1-800 number people who are the people that I would suggest you need to train better. Specifically the quote given was about $290 but it was $390 to actually get it from the service station here. They didn't know an awful lot about the pricing just that that's what it was. Turns out there are lots of extra fees that were not disclosed on the 1-800 number reservation
