Wrong drop off location. Our drop off was in Scottsdale and it was amazing so much better. We did self service check out.

marie lHad to wait about 20 minutes for a worker to drive to the shop in the middle of the day in order to unhook. Not convenient at all
Colby DI had a very horrible experience with Uhaul. I made my reservation early to be picked up in Indio, CA and dropped off in Twenty-nine Palms, CA. On the day of, I went to the wrong location which was my mistake I will admit, but when the location I was at gave me the correct location, I went and when I got there, the office was closed. I called back the location I was previously at, and they said that the location I reserved from closed at 5pm, I made my reservation for 5:30pm. Why would the system let me make a reservation for 5:30pm at a location that closed at 5pm? The were able to move my reservation to a location that had the style moving van I reserved and they said they would give me extra milage and an extra day. I went to the location off Monroe. The man I dealt with was very kind and spoke broken english. I wait about 15-20 minutes for him to get ahold of a person to check out the van to me. When I spoke to the person on the phone to check out the van, they asked me if I was returning the van in Twenty-nine Palms, CA, and I confirmed. The van had no gas(the gas light was on), and the man I was dealing with said to put gas and I would be reimbursed. I said ok, that was fine. I was not told how much gas needed to be left in the tank, and because I thought I was going to have an extra day and extra milage, I put over $140.00 worth of gas. Now the next day I checked to see where the drop of location for the van was and it said it was back in Thousand Palms, CA, which was about an hour away from Twenty-nine Palms, CA. I called U-haul and spoked to a man and he said he can switch the drop off location and I asked him about the reimbursement for the gas, the extra day and extra mileage I was given and he said I was only allowed an additional 30 miles because the drop off location was in Thousand Palms, CA. But in fact in was not. It was in Twenty-nine Palms, CA. When I went to drop off the van the young man working was very rude and said he had nothing to with the reservations I made, and when I asked for a number for someone from U-haul I could contact, he said he did not have one. He has a horrible attitude and was not helpful all at.
