We paid for moving blankets and they weren't in the truck Also when I reserved the truck I was given a price and was charged more than the agreed upon price...other than that it was a great truck and drove well.

Originally was hoping for a pickup near Sutton, On. Got notice two days before our 15' truck would be available in Inisfil. Luckily able to pick it up one day before move at no extra charge. Lucky because we wanted to start our moving day at 7 a.m. and Tillsonburg was our destination.
It was a little difficult to find, however once there my order was processed quickly and professionally.

The initial time for pick up was 1130 and they changed it last minute to 1:45pm, when I went to pick it up the truck was late 30 minutes. This was very inconvenient for me because I had 2 movers that I paid $50 an hour so I wasted my time and my movers time having to pay them to wait around until I got my truck. This is the worst experience I've ever had with Uhaul and it will probably be the last time I use your services.
All was perfect - so it would be hard to improve.
Stroudtech was fine, but originally I picked another location and this one was updated twice including a time change....the owner was good and explained there were delays with another customer. However it would have been nice if I could have dropped the trailer off at the original location. Also, there ended up being a mechanical issue with the trailer where the break was set to tight....

When we are told to put the key in the drop off box, I think it only makes sence to provide us with a box that the key will actually fit into, and not try to charge us an extra $50 because we made sure the key was safe by locking it inside the truck. I think that is it absurd for anybody to expect me to put a key through a slot that is smaller than the key. we had toys like this as children to teach us that this is not how things work.if preschool children can come to understand those terms, I don't see why full grown adults can't. I do not expect to be charged an extra $50 for some tow truck to open up truck that there should be a spare key for. if you guys think for a second you're going to get away with charging me an extra $50 for making sure your key is safe you are in for a bumpy ride with me.

My location changed the day before my move...from Bradford St., Barrie to Innisfil! This was most inconvenient as I was coming from Horseshoe Valley. There was no one at the Innisfil location on Yonge St. Other customers were waiting and we were all calling to find out what was going on. We were all late for our planned moves! The truck worked out well and I was happy with the truck itself.
I reserved a 6' x 12' Cargo Trailer well in advance of requiring it on Friday, 28 August 2020 at the following Rental location: StroudTech Solutions, 7975 Yonge St. N. 1A, Innisfil, Ontario. Four(4) to five(5) days prior to my pick up I was contacted by the Corporate Head office in Brampton that my pick-up location is changed to: Auto Ranch Limited, 2283 Industrial Park Rd, innisfil, Ontario because no 6' x 12' Cargo Trailers are available at the StroudTech Solutions location. They informed me this location was only 2-3 miles from my requested location. In fact, it was much farther then that. On Friday, 28 Aug 2020 I proceeded to the Auto Ranch Limited dealer. When I arrived at this location the door was locked and no U-Haul vehicles were on the site. I phoned the office number and a person at a garage in Alcona, Ontario answered telling me the person at the Auto Ranch location is on holidays. This person also me he would get back to me because he had a 6' x 12' Cargo trailer at his location and would call me back if it was available. I call the U-Haul toll free number and waited more than 30 minutes and hung up! On my drive back home I went past the StroudTech solutions location and observed a 6' x 12' Cargo trailer in there lot. I stopped and asked if it was available and thankfully it was. It turns out the previous renter returned it early. The Alcona location called me to tell me a 6x12 Cargo Trailer is available, however, I thanked him and politely told him the location is too far. On Friday evening , 28 Aug 2020 I contacted U-Haul Customer Service, waiting over 30 minutes, requesting a drop-off location change. I also told the Customer Service agent about what happened and could have been without a Cargo Trailer. All she could say was sorry and switched me to the switchboard who then put me through to dispatch. The phone rang several times and then went dead! On Saturday, 29 August 2020 I again contacted U-Haul Customer Service at the U-Haul Corporate Head Office in Brampton, which again took a long time to answer. This person changed my pick-up location and all I got was the proverbial sorry after telling her my story. U-Haul Customer Service, after my experience, in my opinion, is AWFUL! I could have been without a Cargo Trailer, after making plans for my move that weekend. That meant absolutely nothing to Customer Service!!!
I rent trucks and moving trucks from U-Haul many times recently and many times over the years. I was so annoyed because you told me you had a truck in Barrie then you called me to tell me the only one was Innisfil. I had to drive extra KM to pick up and drop off in Innisfil because the truck I reserved wasn't in Barrie ( I never got 50 dollars back for my reservation not being what I originally booked) I needed the truck so what am I suppose to say no? Anyways the truck tires were low with air which I paid 3.00 to fill them and then the oil needed to changed in the truck. The light kept coming on. The KM:gas wasn't correct either. Had to change when I booked in. I even called to report this but I wasn't Offered anything, no compensation. I have a huge rental history with you people and have never had issues or even complained when I have. I am just upset at the customer service from the guy who I was dealing with( he was not friendly). It was such a weird interaction. They lady I spoke with on the phone was nice and helpful But didn't offer me anything for my loyalty, aggravation or problems I was really happening, they were just notes on the file... which GO NO WHERE BUT THANKS THOUGH!!
The truck seemed to have loose steering, which made driving a bit nerve wracking.
The employee was late showing up for work. My online reservation time got changed and I had to wait almost an hour before I could get the truck. Also your online payment options apparently didn't include the taxes so I had to pay over $25 that I wasn't expecting to have to pay. I was not happy at all with this service and will Probably look to another company if I have to love again
Upon arrival, during Covid and mandatory face masks the uhaul rep was not wearing a mask and had no hand sanitizer in site. The office was an absolute mess. The gentleman made me feel like I was nothing more than a hassle to him. He didn't even walk out to the truck with me to look it over. As I was looking overwhelmed the truck there were several area of damage not marked with the X. I went back into the office and I had to ask the U-Haul rep to come out with me to see them. I told him that they were not recorded in that I wanted them recorded. Again he made me feel like I was being nothing more than a hassle.
