Reserved 10’ truck, with the “24/7” pickup option. Arrived to dingy (no, actually filthy) facility at 7:00am with many people waiting and manager barking at everyone that parking was not allowed on the facility and everyone must move their personal vehicles NOW… I mentioned I had the 24/7 option, he asked my name, and handed me keys with the truck’s identifier #...Unfortunately, this truck was behind approximately 6 other vehicles requiring someone to move them all prior (20 minutes)… Upon departure, I realize I have “low tire” indicator… Return to facility, employee fills tire up (I had to suggest maybe he check the other rear tire as well). Start my trip. 10 minutes later, get call from manager telling me I didn’t properly “check out” vehicle using app/website. I tell him Everything looked good on my end, though will check when I arrive at 1st stop. Manager’s reply “when will that be?” At first opportunity, I try to again “check out” vehicle….System keeps telling me I’m good to go… Call manager and tell him, he can’t figure it out and we decide to reconcile when I return truck. (Turns out this “24/7” is a new feature with them.) 4 Hours later, return to truck, nobody in office. I search around, manager is installing trailer hitch on someone’s car and tries to find new person to help me. New person (very nice though), doesn’t really know how to fix issue. (Had to create new contract from start). Manager huffs in, tells employee what to do and huffs out. So, we’re left for me to now estimate my mileage. I use google maps to retrace my steps and share mileage. System seems to disagree, saying I used more than double…. Employee sends me back out to speak with manager, who implies that I was making up mileage, and that “I did it wrong” when checking out and this wouldn’t have been a problem if I had. I’m mad now, that he’s accusing me of underestimating my mileage… He tells me to “prove” it… I give him destination address, he google maps it, realizes I was correct, and instructs employee to process with the information I had provided. I had used this facility in the past, and although sketchy, decided to use again, even though not as close to where I know live. Mistake. Someone from corporate really needs to pay a visit.

Skinny blonde guy at the location was very rude - he wasn't even helping us but felt the need to make inappropriate comments anyway. I did the express check-in and it saved me zero time. I waited in line for a good 30 minutes. Please hire more staff who are more friendly and don't make rude comments to customers who haven't said a word to them.

Office Personnel were rude, and acted like they were to good to say hello or even ask you if you need anything or could we help you or do you have any questions. The yard folk's were outstanding and you knew at once who was really running the show here and who was really working the most! The Yard Personnel! Piss poor locations, piss poor run down area, and looks like a third world country operations. Office personnel really have not skills other than looking to busy to ask if you need anything.

Worker was a little rude in moving his car that blocked the truck I was renting. Crazy busy in the morning. Had to wait a while to get the key for self-service. It would have been nice if there was a quicker way to get a key for self-service. Otherwise, the self-service process was pretty impressive.

I rented a truck for a day and this went fine. When I returned it I accidentally left two personal keys on the truck's key chain. Since then it has been nearly impossible to talk to someone at your company that can help me retrieve my keys from that equipment (TM2565S). The problem is that every time I call, I am routed to the corporate number and cannot talk to anyone in the local offices. While I might guess this saves your company money, it lowers the quality of customer service greatly. Ian Read 415-320-0518

Be professional. Have two more employees on site that know what they are doing. Also I was charge for three days when I returned the trailer the same day I rented the trailer

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The paint/decals were strongly crazed and it had the same dent in the fender that I always see when I rent it, but it was mostly clean inside. The tires had fresh tread (and worked fine), but looked old.

One of the items on the policy is to return the truck with the same level of fuel gas. Although it's a fair policy it seems that turning in the fuel level on 3/4 level is an unfair policy. It seems that this policy is always is in favor of U-Haul not customers as some or majority of customers will return the trucks with more fuel gas. Please change the fuel level to full rather than 3/4 level which will make it easier for customers to return the trucks with exact level of fuel gas.

Everything was good

the truck rental was exactly what I needed. However, it was extremely dirty inside and the back had a bunch of gravel in the bed -- the truck ran great and the Air was in perfect working order -- just wished it was at least wiped down inside.

The van smell so bad, look like they transport animal from Arizona. Also at the end your app, ask me to lock the van, I did it and left the key over the dashboard. By 10:50 I receive a phone asking me were I left the key I toll him is over the dashboard and I lock the van according the app. At the time I drop the van no one was there and of course I can't leve the key inside without looking the van. And the app was very clear in the last step by asking me to lock the van.

The location isn't the best but the people and the equipment make it worth the visit. The people and equipment are what make this place worth a return visit. I did not experience anything I felt would warrant me telling you guys how you could do better. I felt you really did your best and it showed because it all worked for what I asked for. Thank you!

get the day laborers away from front entrance. They should be up at Cherry/ Jeronimo like all others do. It's a bit irritating to have them hound you to hire them. Then charge more than the others. What a joke this is not an employment line for a long-term honest job. W/o this happening I focus on the professionalism of who I am doing honest business with and I give props to. Thank you for being so helpful.

The location is very messy and poorly organized. Brian, the owner, was surly and rude to customers, ordering them around and acting generally disrespectful. That's bad enough, but it took an hour to pick up a truck that was reserved and he just didn't have a sensitivity to keeping people waiting. His two employees, however, did seem to be on the ball and polite, but the owner is a huge liability. I was horrified, and don't want to deal with him ever again.
