I rented the truck on 2 separate days the 14 th. 1st day I had the truck for a full 24 hours. Second puck up Was the 16th I have the truck for a total of 6 hours I was charged more the 2nd time I was also charged 20 cents more a mile without being informed I drove the same distance as I had it the 1st day and paid more the 2nd time I run of the truck? I've already phoned in and asked for someone to return my call no one has I would like someone to credit my account back as soon as possible for the discrepancy

We rented a 26' truck for two days, we returned the truck on the second day about an hour and a half late. We were charged for a third day. We should of been able to prorate the cost.

The guy in front of me was told the truck had 1/4 tank of gas and he needed to return it with 1/4 tank of gas. So his day started putting gas in the tank and id bet its a guess as to how much. I was told my truck had 3/4 tank and I needed to return it the same. AS A SUGGESTION JUST FILL THE FRIGGIN TANK WHEN THE TRUCK IS RETURNED....JEEEEZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!! FULL!!!!!!! COME ON........................................................................ There was a hand truck strapped in the back and I was told if I used it I would be charged. I said I don"t need if can you remove it and the guy said no. I don"t know who this guy was but I think hes the manager becacuse he said he was waiting for the assistant manager to show up to open at 9:00 - and this guy was late. I estimated the size of the truck and needed the length usable not with a hand truck in the way. THE HAND TRUCK WAS IN MY WAY There was some sticky slimy stuff on the steering wheel and something brown and oily in the cup holders sloshing around. I placed the paperwork there and if got slimed with whatever was there------THANKS FOR THAT I really screwed up, I usually go with Budget who happens to be in the same yard and have rented many times with a very good experience. They will get my future business. I was dissatisfied with this rental and it wont happen again

The Manager called me in the morning after I dropped the truck off with the location. He stated to me in a threatening and condescending tone that I will pay $75 for a lost key since he did not get the keys even after I told him where I had placed it per employee instructions. I had written down my mileage and gas levels and wrapped the note around the key and had placed it into the mailbox per his employee's instructions that were present during drop off. They told me to do so since I was 10 minutes late to closing of the day. In the end, I received my receipt via mail which indicated the correct mileage and fuel level. Gosh, they must have found the key?

I would recommend people use the Laguna Beach location. The Laguna Beach location has better control of the illegal day workers. I had an illegal immigrant open the passenger side door as I drove down the street. Others tried to kick the truck as it drove by but were unsuccessful.. No damage was done to the truck, but these illegals are dangerous and U-Haul should not employ them.

1 hour waiting to pickup truck when arrived there at 9 AM opening time on a Sunday. There were about 8 people in front of me. Even with reservation and people in line mostly having reservations, took an hour to be served. 2 staff members is not enough and appears to be the norm. Staff were friendly and I know it's not their fault they are understaffed. Dropoff was smooth and was so much better than the morning.

The employee's are very nice, considering what they have to deal with, I have used this location several time over the course of 3 years, and 3 years ago they were delayed and took forever to check anyone out because of the computer system crashing all the time, once again that was still a problem, it took almost an hour to get checked in, and I did everything online including express check in, because the computers were not working well, for goodness sake fix it. Not hard, Not even that expensive.

Worst experience with trying to rent Ever imaginable! We will never come to this location ever again. I don’t care how desperate we are for a rental. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes in a line to pick up the trailer we rented. If I hadn’t paid and reserved on line I would have left. Seriously rediculous. The 2 staff were working so hard but still it wasn’t enough to only have 2 people working at a place with such demand.

Was told that I have 14 days free and it was on the contract but upon arrival I was told that I must pay 40 dollars a day for 5 extra days. So a $200 charge was made against my credit card which is out of line with the contract. Also, I received an angry phone call from the location in Mission Viejo about me leaving trash in the vehicle. While I accept responsibility for leaving trash behind, I think I was misled by the receiver of the vehicle that I would be forgiven. But three business days later, I was charged $150 cleaning fee. Talk about opportunism and mistreatment of customers. Additionally, I received an unexplained charge of $70 on my credit card. I feel that I have been lied to and verbally abused by Uhaul and its associates. I don't appreciate the experience dealing with your staff especially in the Lake Forest location.

This location does not allow after-hours drop off. Although the office was still open and two employees were behind the counter, they informed me that I would need to park the truck in the street and return the following morning because they do not allow returns on Saturday after 7:00pm. I was there around 7:25pm and had called u-haul while in transit to see if I could drop off after the 7:00pm “closing” time. I was informed that I could drop off the truck and leave the key in the after hours box. Unfortunately, this location does not offer that.
