First of all- This location was fine. However, getting my rental set up was not fine. My original reservation was made two weeks in advance to pick up a 20 ft truck near my home (rural mountain community in Colorado). I was supposed to get a call from UHaul the night before my pick-up. The call never came, and it took three tries of being on hold for over 15 minutes each call to get through to someone at the 1800 number. When I finally did speak to someone, surprise surprise, the size truck I had reserved was not available at the location I had set up TWO WEEKS ahead of time. I was at first told that they could not do anything and to call that location in the morning, the morning of moving day, to see what they could do. I refused and told the person I was speaking with she needed to figure something else out. She said they had the right size truck at another location 30 miles away from our old house. I said fine, but they would need to comp the miles needed to go and get the truck. What would have happened if I hadn't called and had just showed up on moving day to pick up my reserved rental? We would have been screwed on an already stressful day. I'm not in a hurry to use Uhaul again if I can avoid it.

Upon opening trailer to load it the inside stunk of perfume or something strong. The smell attached to my belongings.

When I returned the vehicle I was right at the closing time. I was told that I need to do an online return. This was a bit off putting because I had rushed to return on time. A little better service is expected normally.

Very friendly staff, both in the office and handling the return of rented equipment/vehicles. The man who helped me when coming to pick up the rental truck was very customer service oriented and friendly and the gal who handled the return (I believe her name was Morgan) was very nice and helpful. I think they both deserve to be recognized for excellent customer service. I had to return the rental a little late and they were very understanding. Would definitely recommend this location without pause.

They didnt send me an updated email about when to return it and I got confused and went with an old time. Resulted in an additional day charge. Also, the fuel meter didnt read accurately and I ended up spending a fortune on extra fuel for them which you don't get back.

I had a few questions about renting the truck so I called the customer service number on the website. The agent on the telephone was very pushy, wanting me to give her my credit card number right away before answering my questions. She asked me four times throughout our conversation. I don’t believe that this particular agent was associated directly with the store I rented from. The agents at this store were outstanding and very knowledgeable. Returning the vehicle was easy and quick.

When I was in the store a customer outside dropped his trailer and hit another trailer. The guy helping me ran out to help him. Twenty minutes later he came in to assist me. He was stressed trying to catch up. Got me my van and said it wasn't completely full on gas and would appreciate if I could work with him. I agreed and specifically asked him about how much gas was in the tank. He said it wouldn't be a problem. I put twenty one miles on it and put in two gallons of gas. I have a picture of the gas gauge when returned. Returned it after hours and received my final bill online. I was charged 6.75 for gas. I called in and was given a case number and told someone would get back to me. No one has. I helped out the guy and took the van when that gas wasn't full. I'm very upset over this. It shouldn't have happened. If this isn't corrected I don't think I'd rent from you again. I await someone's response. Scott Dietrich
