So Uhaul sends a link for you to open and confirm the trucks condition before leaving the pickup location. The person did not tell me this and so I did not see the link until after I had left the property and the link expired. Make sure you open the link and complete the inspection before you leave.

The app is shit. I ended up having to call anyway. When I dropped off the truck, almost before I even got stopped the guy had the back open and was talking out the dolly. He said just leave the keys in the door even though I hadn't even started the return process. Nasty pushy man.

The owner was very nice but there was another man there while I was checking in that kept interrupting our transaction (maybe his son or a relative?) coming into and out of the office without wearing a mask. I thought that was extremely rude and dangerous.

Per previous comments, drop-off man was understandably confused at return of truck w/empty tank. He mentioned that now someone would have to pay to fill the tank. I was sorry he was caught in the middle of the misunderstanding. On my end I explained what I was told and he had to admit it wasn't really my fault.


I parked the truck and dropped the keys into the 24 hour box, so no interaction with anyone. I did get a prompt e-mail the next morning verifying the drop off and that all was in order, no extra charges. Very appreciative of that.

I don't believe any sanitizing was done to the truck. I would have assumed that due to covid the equipment would have to be sanitized between users?

Good location for drop off but it wasn't clear where to exactly park the car. Include those instructions clearly under the drop Off location on the confirmation page

This location had very little space for parking, and there were 3 UHauls (myself included) trying to drop off their trucks at the same time. It was stressful trying to figure out where to park in such a way that the next drivers would be able to get the truck out without too much trouble. The dropbox for keys was easily accessible, though, which I appreciated. One comment about the dropoff process, though - the UHaul app is very buggy. It glitched out and crashed on me THREE times before I was finally able to successfully complete the process. I can only imagine how panicked I'd feel if I hadn't finally been able to submit the truck return information on my fourth try. I definitely would not feel comfortable renting from UHaul again with the number of bugs I identified in the app - unless you can directly interact with people for pickup/return, you're likely to have a bad experience.

There was one single item I left on the back of the truck a long stick that attaches to my bed stick I was told it was not on the truck but the representative never even went to go look so now that's something I have to buy

I would NOT recommend people use the Uhaul app or express check in. I stood in the cold for 25 minutes trying to get it to work. Luckily the owner showed up to his business early and was able to help me.

I NEVER used pads but was charged $20 for them, I used a dolly for $10- I was WAY overcharged! I counted me miles and gas and was owed money, but now its saying I owe Uhaul- I want a review. I returned equipment on line and still have my receipts I'm owed money not owe uhaul!

We used this location because it was very close to where we moved to in Ohio. The person told me to just drop the key in the chair and "I was good to go". No receipt (until prompted to provide one) was offered. We were tired and chose convenience over quality. The guy was nice enough, but I wouldn't go back.

Abe was very nice, he called to confirm and when we arrived early informed us that the truckmwill be there shortly. After about 20 mins he called me and informed me that the truck was there and ready to go

I called the day before to confirm reservations. I was told my reservation was confirmed and when I arrived my reservation was “lost”. I also tried the online check-in. The owner rented the truck that was confirmed by the app to someone else that had arrived before us, even though I tried to stop him explaining it was our truck. Then had to wait another 20 minutes to sort out a new truck. Our originally scheduled time to pick it up was 9:30, didn't leave the shop til 10:45. Which put us and our helpers at a great disadvantage.

Even though I had a reservation and confirmation number I did not receive the size I wanted. They had another size available so I didn't go empty handed but was frustrated I didn't have the size I reserved.

I was told when we picked up our truck that if we got it finished within one day there would be a discount. We return the truck in about 6 hours. The owner showed up as we were leaving and told me that I was crazy for thinking that. I'm not crazy. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Even though I did the check in on the phone he wanted to make sure it was done properly. Thank goodness I was not there alone. He really freaked me out. I'm also wondering how I get my discount since he refuses to do anything for me except treat me like a criminal.

I think the only improvement would be for them not to rent uhauls. They are only opened two days a week. They u haul information says they have daily operating hours. They don't. The hours on the days they are actually opened are not the hours stated on the web site.

I booked my truck through a representative at the Uhaul customer service line. The pickup time was completely messed up, but Abe changed his schedule to accommodate me. Without him doing that, I would not have been able to even begin my move. Abe deserves a thank you from me, and from the customer service rep, as he has saved uhaul from losing any of my future business.
