Too far away from me. I had to use a 26 ft truck from this location after my close location could not provide the truck I reserved. Instead of a 12 minute drive, I had to make a 40 minute drive to get the truck I needed to make a scheduled move. The after hour turn-in process didn't work right, there was no light in the cab to see by (it was after dark), and and I had trouble finding the drop box which was poorly lit. Not my best U-Haul experience. Also, please fill the tank so that the customer PICKS. THE. TRUCK. UP. FULL. The nonsense of trying to guess how much gas you need to put in is ridiculous. I repeat: GIVE IT TO THE CUSTOMER FULL! Really annoying, and reflects laziness on the part of U-Haul. Also, this and the last truck I got were in pretty bad mechanical state. They didn't break down but they sure were not finely tuned machines.

The people who helped me we're nice, however the truck felt like it needed some maintenance. When I turned in the truck, I was told I would get an email receipt. I verified my information was correct, and I received the email, however it said that it could not load because my link had expired. Now I have to jump all these hoops, just to get my receipt.

The online profile didn’t save me any time at the counter for checking in. Also, Had some problems upon return with an employee who wanted to assert dominance on me when I asked why I had to be present to refund the box money. It was done on my debit card why it was a problem is beyond me. You guys accept my debit card when I’m not in person all the time. She insisted I drive 16 miles back to their location to present my debit card and sign. Ridiculous! I sent pictures and all. She was trying to be nasty to me because she perceived me as being rude. I wasn’t rude at all. I was just pointing out the contradictions in what practices I’ve seen with U-Haul. . It was a huge inconvenience for me and I will NEVER go back to that store again. When I showed up with the card and to sign she was nice enough. I am a nice and polite person and she happened to catch me on a hugely stressful event. Moving!! Who wouldn’t be a little mad when you have to get to work after moving all night no sleep and the U-Haul person requires you to drive 16 miles in the opposite direction to present my debit card when all they had to do was credit the boxes. Don't you guys finalize bills with peoples debit/credit cards without their person present ? In my opinion she was way out of line.

the mobile phone check in and check out is extremely confusing and frustrating. Pretty bad experience. Staff other than the owner, who was awesome were not very helpful. it was the typical Las Vegas staff with no customer service focus.

When I made the reservation more than a month in advance I selected a location that was less than 3 miles from my home. The day prior to my reservation I received a text explaining that the equipment I selected would be available at another location more than 9 miles from my home. I contacted the location that I first selected to ensure they would be able to supply the equipment I selected and they confirmed they did. I had to drive 12 miles round trip further to pick up and return the rental than I had anticipated. It seems to me uhaul is looking out after themselves by changing customer pick up locations increasing mileage charges, rather than providing the best customer service. When I asked for the mileage to be reduced no compensation was offered.

Hire more staff. I called and was put on hold for 10 min , hamg uo snd drove to your branch. Waited 30 minutes in line, another 15 to get through process. Phone kept ringing and your staff kept transferring calls to a call center. I'm sure you guys can improve this process.

The whole order was not there - I had to drive ten miles to get moving blankets. No extra miles were given to me.
