windows and mirrors were filthy inside and out; air conditioning only worked half the time; check engine light was on the whole time; passenger mirror was worthless because ball-joint inside the mirror was so loose the mirror was flopping around and wouldn't stay adjusted. equipment was unsafe in its current condition

If i didn't need this truck at the last minute i definitely would not have used UHaul. I called and asked for help because i had never done the 24/7 pick up before and the man that i spoke with was extremely rude. It was like he couldn't be bothered to talk to me or do his job.

Your reservation system is useless. I made a reservation online for a time that was not truly available. I called the 800 number and made a reservation. Noone ever called to set up my rental like I was told would happen within an hour. Then, after I called several stores and found my own truck, I had received two emails from customer services showing I had to reservations at far away locations at times that would not work. Useless.

I've rented from this location before and others as well. I declined the insurance while making my online reservation to speed things up. I was told when I got the I had to give them my insurance information and policy number or pay the $10 in order to rent.... this was my first time ever being asked for this and rather than get on my phone and go to the website and login...ect...ect I just paid the $10 to save time. It was an inconvenience. Don't give customers the option to decline the insurance on your website if your pretty much going to force them to pay at your location.

The app for picking up/returning the truck was absolutely horrible. I couldn't complete the pick up (app asked for multiple uploads of same photo and that caused the battery to drain). Obviously, this took a long long time. The return process was worse and the app stayed on step one for 30 minutes. I had to call the 1-800 number to get someone to log the truck's return.

I Was Not At All Happy with Kent Swanson, at Swanson’s Auto Buying Service, Inc.. The way that he runs you through the Process Of getting a U-Haul is Very Unprofessional. I Could Not use my own Insurance,State Farm, for My Coverage Because Kent Swanson told me that if I Do, then I will Have to Pay Him with a Check. He refuses to wait on Insurance Claims. Totally Violating my Rights. He Literally FORCED me to use his Coverage. He doesn’t take the time to go over ANYTHING with you, about the Truck, about Coverage, about the Whole Process. I was literally RUN out the Front door. I had to ask Quick questions while he raced back to get inside the Building. Not sure why he chooses to run the business like he does. He asks you a question and when you start to answer, he starts talking over you. The U- Haul Truck was Dirty, the wheels were vibrating so badly that I could hardly keep the truck on the road.Kent Claims that it had a Full Tank, but he was wrong. Because he failed Completely in going over the truck with me, he made the decision to also charge me another $22.00 for gas, when I just put Gas in at The QT on the way to returning the Truck. I have a Receipt. I think he Forces you to use his Coverage, because he is responsible for it and has you pay for it instead. He lied about the gas in truck and when he pushed me out the door when I returned the truck, he also failed to go over the Truck with me at returning the truck. Kent Swanson just stole $14.00 for Coverage on the truck that I could get for free with my Coverage. Kent Swanson just Stole another $22.00 for gas charges that was not his to take from my Credit Card because he took the number Beforehand. I believe that he takes FULL ADVANTAGE of people when he runs you out the door, by NOT going over everything with you beforehand. He just Stole my money. I am surprised that he didn’t charge me for not washing his dirty truck. I called to ask that he Return his Charge Of $22.00 for gas that he stole from my Credit Card. He was NOT Authorized by me to do that. Sounds like Kent Swanson Just steals your money to make a Profit. I Hope that this Survey will Help Others in Warning you that Kent Swanson Is the Worse Place to Get a U-Haul Truck. Unless you don’t mind someone Stealing from you.

I ordered a truck and trailer combo and when I arrived at the location I was told the truck and trailer combo does not come with the trailer hitch included but would need to buy one. When I questioned this they looked in back to see if they had one to lend and they did. I really feel it is false advertising from uhaulnto offer a truck and trailer combo only to force people to buy the piece of equipment you need to mate the truck to the trailer.

I reserved the truck online and selected my pick up location. My immediate confirmation email contained the pick up location I selected. But the day before, the text and email confirmation I got listed a different pick up location. I had to make 3 phone calls to find out that it was changed because the size truck I reserved was not at the pick up location I selected. While that's fine, I understand that can happen, I would just prefer the email confirmation I get the day before to say WHY my location had been changed, and not let me think I had made some kind of mistake online. Thanks
