Monica J.Was not sent a link this morning for mobile check in. Spent a lot of time thinking it was in person check in. Finally called and was navigating through mobile check in making us late to garage sale. On way home we were told it was for at 2. I asked for 3 and girl told me I was going to be charged a extension fee. She checked the reservation and said that she saw 3 on one and 2 on the other. I would not be charged anything beyond 2:00 per their error. I'm

Blair D.The entire experience was not great, the trailer I drove off with was even less terrific! I've rented many U-Haul trucks and trailers in my life but this was horrible! The trailer door was so difficult to open and close because it was all dented up. The pictures of what I was checking out did not match the actual trailer, it didn't include the multiple damaged, dented and worn wheel fenders, damaged exterior to all sides, the damaged door, etc. I had to take new pictures of the entire trailer. This unfortunately wasn't the worst of it however; the trailer bounced all over the road for it's entire journey from Texas to Washington. I don't know what was wrong with it, but it bounced so badly, I had to retighten the hitch screw every time I stopped for gas, as it was coming undone. The contents of the trailer, even though tied down and secured, literally bounced all over the place and nothing was where it began. When coming into CA, at the vehicle inspection sight, they wanted me to open the back so they could examine it's contents, but when we could only get the door open 8-10 inches, they told me never-mind and let me go without inspecting it. I can honestly say I will never pick up from anything other than a full U-Haul facility in the future. This was barely a parking lot in a run down gas station. If this is the way U-Haul is now conducting business, I will not use them again. I reserved a 4x8 trailer to be picked up at a U-Haul facility, after being rerouted twice to this gas station, they didn't have the size I reserved, so they gave me a 5x8 trailer "for no additional cost", like it was something special I was receiving. IT WAS NOT! I overpaid for the trailer no matter what. I used far more gas on my journey than necessary, took twice as long to travel as necessary, all because the trailer didn't travel well. Personally I'd like my money back. D. Schneider
