I paid for a 24 hour rental, Hans changed it to a 6 hour rental and charged me for an extra day saying I returned the trailer late. I had returned the trailer within 24 hours. Hans requires you to disconnect your own equipment when it is returned. Bad customer service and the equipment area is very small, making accessing the equipment very difficult. The employees at the location do not assist with directing you to the equipment. I only rented at this location because my reservation was "bumped" to this location. If my reservation is ever sent to this location again, I simply will not accept the transfer. I will rent from another facility. I had such a bad experience picking up the trailer that I called Uhaul to ask if I could return the trailer to a different location. I was told they owned the equipment and it had to be returned to Hans. The return experience was worse than the pickup experience. However, I did receive wonderful customer service when I directly called Uhaul for assistance with the overcharge the Hans tried to charge me. She spoke to Hans and tried to resolve the charge. She was unable to get the charge corrected and then disputed the charge in the Uhaul system. I am happy to say I have received a refund on the incorrect charge. Thank you Uhaul customer service.

Please don't have the customer pay a car wash crew member to clean the soiled in fecal matter in the bed of the pick up rental. I know it was some sort of animal fecal matter, I been around farm animals long enough to distinguish that smell. I would probably follow up with who ever used the truck last to see what they may have put in there. They charged me $8.00 to clean he soiled pick up truck bed. The inside bottom of the cabin was also covered in fecal. I regretted taking the truck 6981L but I was running out of time. To make things worse, I returned the truck before the 24 hour rental ended and the man charged me for 2 days and he twisted my words saying that I told him that I won't be returning the truck until after 8pm yesterday. I wasn't sure if their was a language barrier but I told him that I want the 24hr rental. I won't return It today because i won't be using it until 8pm. From what I understand, Uhaul location close at 7pm. For that reason I won't return it until tomorrow. I was extremely unsatisfacted and then when I got home, I got upset enough to stop myself from my packing and moving and wright this review. At the end of the day, my perception of uhaul was that I rented a dirty truck that I had to clean and returned in within the 24 hours and was charged for the second day. After me tring to do the right thing I get penalized for the mans reason. I have used Uhaul on many occasion but this is a first problem I had with them. This won't stop me from getting UHaul in the future but I will make sure everyone I know is aware of this specific location. Anson Alexander.

I had spoken to customer service on 2 occasions requesting to pick up the truck at a nearby location and was told that, since there was plenty of time to accommodate, there shouldn't be a problem and, yet, I was given a pickup far off.

The truck i rent have lot of smell comming of smoke and the driver side door seal leak it was very noisy inside the truck I have fjll load of truck and tome restain so I cannot switch the teuck on my way but I find this problem on my way to hwy driving Suggestion for uou haul truck have a no cabin space to store stuff for such a long hauls and no cruise control s Should be some what comfortable truck for such a long drives Hope they will work on it and may be disel truck r better for long moves Thx Kb

I rented a 10 foot U-Haul for a brief move less than 12 miles round trip expected. The clerk advised to be back right on time due to a reservation on the vehicle. I believed it could be done considering the small size of the move. We ended up being 30 minutes over the time. The clerk advised he knew i wasn't going to make it and the customer with the reservation did not stay to wait prompting him to give the customer $50. Although there another truck available the customer did not get reassigned. I apologized for the unexpected tardiness. However, I felt scolded for something that could have been fixed.

Be sure that my reservation needs are met. I set my reservation for a 17' truck and was suckered into taking a 26' truck. I was left with no choice. I told the guy that my fuel level was off and he said he would make the adjustment which he did not. Very poor rental experience for me and I rent uhaul truck very often. Aviod this uhaul at all costs!!!

The place is too small to bring in a trailer hooked up to a 3500 dually extended cab. Plus it is a gas station with a lot of pumps and cars filling up. No room. I pulled in an attendant wanted it backed into a small spot. It was difficult between the fuel pumps and cars coming in for gas. I wanted to just drop it and have them maneuver it back where they wanted it but he said no. This was not right and I was nervous I would have hit something because it was a congested area. Never use this place again.

U HAUL SUCKS! I used to work there, so I have first hand experience with how poorly you treat and see your employees and customers. Your advertising is fraudulent at least and ignorant at best. 19 $ in-town...Ha you guys haven't changed your tricks. The ONLY reason I used your company is that I had no other way than to rent one of your trucks. Your over the phone personal don't tell people the little tricks you pull. No one the phone told me you would charge more if it was a one way, less than 19 miles away. She also did mention that the Van was not the same prices at the truck 10'... Your company is so mischievous and nefarious on how you charge and UP charge people. Fee for this fee for that, and on and on it goes until a 20/30$ rent turns into a 110$ without a hand truck?!! I didn't even use blankets, boxes, or anything else. I absolutely detest your company. I know you don't pay your employees well, and expect a lot from them. Open everyday of the year... What a jerk thing to do to people... working on the holidays... I hope your company goes under one day.

Terrible experience! They tell you if you break the paper thin tag for the dolly they charge you, it was broken by the time I got to my first destination before ever getting into the back. Of course no remorse from the clerk as I'm sure it's made that way for a reason. Charged an arm and a leg for an old truck with transmission issues and clearly been smoked in for quite some time. I'll never go back to them
