When I arrived the man was making it hard like he didn’t know what he was doing. We didn’t make a reservation for one we just went to the store so he was doing the paper work for us . While on FaceTime. Mind you we we got there early. Well while he was doing it he then said he can’t do it we have to do it on our phone. Which he could’ve told us to start with. Not sure why he couldn’t when he was doing it on the computer there for an hr. So while doing it on the phone of course going thru more problems . Because after doing it online correctly he stated it had to be redone . No explanation we did a one way. Well then he does it on his computer and does the application being difficult ! We been there for three hours at this point!! Never had to experience this with any place! Also tried to pay in “cash” which he tried to say they don’t accept then turn around and say if we do cash it’s $270. For what?!? I’m confused ….. then said card $170.38 that was it if we did card so we did card which I feel that’s extremely high for no reason at all. So I asked because we was doing card then that $170.38 is all we need to pay? He said yes the $170.38 for one way and stated we will get a deposit back when we return it okay fine that’s explains everything. He also stated we didn’t have to pay for anything else once we drop it off and they check for damages and etc we are free to leave we didn’t need or have to pay for nothing else. I also asked about a discount because how long he had us there and for him giving us a hard time because it specifically said $50.00 back if waiting. He didn’t give us anything …… So we paid and went outside to take pictures of the u haul inside and out. To make sure and to cover us just in case they tried to say something. Which we left and proceeded to take care of what we needed to. Which we went to our destination after leaving from Lexington because we had to gather our things and head to our destination. Which we told him from this point to here. Once we got our things and went directly to our destination the truck wasn’t moved after that because he said we had 24hrs (a day) to returned it. Well the next day is here and we are going to return it which is today. The 1st place that showed us wasn’t there at all! So we had to fine another one which was 3mins down the road we get there which is a BP station / shell gas station. We was gonna drop it in the box . Well we didn’t because we wanted to be on the safe side and also he told us about the deposit back as well so we wanted to go in and let them know we brought it here after putting gas in it as well. Well after waiting for 30mins the man checking so they tried to charge me another $100 for what?!? No explanation no reason no nothing he said the card was declined because I keep extra security on my card. Well I told hind what am I being charge for? And my husband specifically asked for a breakdown of what they are trying to charge. So we can have a detailed and understanding because they wasn’t telling us. Which we was being nice and all . Well they called somebody and said we was trying to argue which we simply said no nobody is arguing we are just wanted to know why and what we are being charged. And then they simply said we can go we are good / fine we didn’t have to pay anything which we was still confused and lost . Because we wanted to know the break down and why. Because if it was reasonable we would pay but we not gonna pay for no reason I simply even showed them the receipt and what the man told us at the other store. The communication at bother stores are horrible and charging too much and extra for no reason in highly disappointed and also mad because they are and was taking advantage I really want my refund because that is awful and unprofessional!!!
