I was very disappointed with my over all experience with this rental. I made reservation to pick in my town but was required to drive to a town over an hour and half away to pick up the vehicle. Which cost the moving team I used time and additional cost for fuel. I was only given a couple of days notice. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.Michele C.
My problem was not with the location, but with uhaul itself. when I was trying to make the reservation I was quoted three different amounts . I was quoted a total finally and when I rented the truck it was 100.00 dollars more than my reservation quote.being on a very tight budget this was quite upsetting. If you are going to give a quote give the amount that will be expected at the time of pick up.Ramona S.
I rented the trailer to Mason, Texas on Saturday and on Sunday I received a text saying Mason could not take any more trailers and my drop off location would be Harper, Texas. Harper is 48 miles away and I was supposed to use my time and my gas to make a 96 mile round trip to take the trailer to a U-Haul dealer who could take it. Scheduling changed the location to Llano, Tex which is closer and only a 54 mile round trip but it was still ridiculous to make the customer do U-Hauls job. I demanded to be paid which they did but not without acting as if the money was coming out of their pocket. This is a terrible way to treat your customers.david S.
Better interaction with uhaul.com. it took several phone calls to 2 different people to get u haul to acknowlege I did turn in the trailer 3 days earlier after-hours. No one was mean, but it should have been evident I did as requested.Joseph S.
