The guy running the store opened late. Pickup time was supposed to be 8am, he didn't arrive at the store until almost 810. I needed to be back home to meet the movers, and he made me late. He also spoke no English, and gave me the wrong truck, which caused a whole litany of other issues throughout my already stressful day.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkOvercharged on gas by a long shot. Need to figure this out.
JAMES MThe customer service was good. The truck on the other hand, was not well maintained. The parking brake when turned off, continually beeped and stayed lit up. The truck was dirty inside with a mess on the floor between the seats. As well, the gas tank had a quarter tank of gas. Overall, the truck was not ready to go. The employee looked shocked. The handle of the door of the box of of the truck, kept getting stuck in the roof and then refused to lock just prior to me returning it. This was by far the worst truck experience I've ever had. I was moved from another location to this one. Next time I will be canceling the rental if the truck is not prepared. Make sure the trucks are ready to go. It's pretty simple.
