My total experience was very subpar. I had ordered an appliance dolly, but on my pickup I was told they didn't have one. The manager at my pickup location called Uhaul, and I was told that there was not an appliance dolly anywhere, including Brownsville. If not for the assistance of the local manager I would not have been able to complete my move. She gets a 5+ star rating. However, my experience with Uhaul overall was extremely negative. As a result of this I will use a different truck rental in the future. Oh, my complaint to corporate Uhaul fell on deaf ears, providing no satisfaction what so ever.

I rented a U-Haul truck and was disappointed with both the vehicle condition and the customer service. The truck itself was dirty. It needed a proper cleaning before being handed over to a customer. The employee helping me appeared more focused on wrapping things up quickly so she could take her lunch at 12:00 than on making sure I had everything I needed and the information required for the rental. The interaction felt rushed and left me feeling like I was being hurried out the door rather than properly assisted. They need to clean their trucks more thoroughly and train staff to prioritize helping customers fully—even when lunchtime is approaching. A little more care in both areas would go a long way toward improving the experience.

Albert GJust a better check of the tires for car hauling equipment especially if someone has a haul of more than an hour traveled 6 hours and one of the tires did give us little concern especially since hauler didn’t have a spare
