I was extremely disappointed to find out that if you return you vehicle or trailer early, like a day or two earlier than expected, there’s no adjustment in your fee. I was not aware and caught off guard by it.

The equipment was well maintained but was not swept out, I had to clean it myself.
McGarret LI returned the vehicle at 5pm which was 24 hours according to contract. I watched the employee put my keys in the dropbox and said he would send me the receipt. He did not go to the vehicle to check the mileage, walk around vehicle/open it up to make sure it was dent-free (which it was), and give me a receipt. I checked that night a few times to see if the receipt was there. It was not. The next morning, the receipt showed up and I saw the vehicle was checked back in at 8:07am that morning. I was then charged for 2 days (48 hours) rather than the 24 hours. I drove back to the location and asked the same employee about this. He quickly understood the issue and rectified the situation by putting a credit through for the 2nd day's charges. The employee was polite and efficient about correction, but I did not like that I had to make a special trip there to sort it out. In the future, I do think the employee ought to walk to the vehicle with the customer, check the mileage/condition, and give/email/text the receipt to the customer right then and there. That is how it is when I use Enterprise Rent-A-Car or other similar rental places. I did not express that I was in a hurry or anything, and there was about 50 minutes before his shift was done (office closes at 5:30 and he is there until 6pm). Cherly CCustomer service was subpar. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and led to me leaving the location and having to return. I asked the representative to contact their higher up and they refused. Ultimately we came to a compromise and were able to complete the rental however; i will not be returning to this location nor do I recommend this location.
