The online reservation stuff is not very good and deafly not set up for cell phone use and that’s what most people are using there phones and when I did talk to somebody on the phone because my reservations got messed up nobody explained to me that there was in town and other things and it required me to spend more money and more time and I Wasn’t very pleased with that because of this experience I’m not sure if I will use U-Haul again

We had some confusion of where we were supposed we to pick up after we schedule pickup at Mannford OK but everything was taken care of excellently. I received my final invoice. I not sure why there was a Easy Fuel charge of $7+ because it was 3/4 tank when we picked it up and we returned it with a little over 3/4 tank of gas.

The dealer was not at all knowledgeable about UHAUL fluctuating pricing, pricing policy, etc. He told me that I was being charged for two days of use and that is why the price of rental was so high compared to my original quoted rental price. He told me that if I only used truck for one day then I would only be charged one day at time of drop-off. At time of drop-off, UHAUL employee informed me none of this was correct.

I dropped the U-Haul off after hours. We tried to submit the return online. Took all the pics and did everything the website requested. The app would not allow us to submit the form. Tried multiple times. Very frustrating after traveling all day to not be able to submit your return.

The positive aspects of this experience are that the trailer I rented worked as expected, ane the owners of this multi-focused local business are very nice. Otherwise, it was a frustrating experience and a huge waste of time and mileage! Their stated opening time was 10 am, which is unusually late for a U-Haul, so my online reservation was for 10 am. They were not present to open the business! I called the main number, which turned out to be the owner’s cell phone. Upon telling the owner that I had a U-Haul reservation and no one was there, he said, “Well, I’m at work.” Great...now I see I’ve been duped by a part time operation attempting to have the marketing appearance of a full time operation! Does not U-Haul have any standards for franchisees? Then, the owner proceeds to tell me that he sent the other lady to do other errands that morning without checking the U-Haul reservations. Therefore, it was going to be at least 45 minutes before she got back. When she did arrive in the store, there was no heat inside when it was about 10 degrees outside. To make matters worse, the lady could barely operate the U-Haul computer system, so most of the data I already entered had to be re-entered. Then, I had to leave to get an adapter for the electrical hookups, which I ended up purchasing at an auto supply, because this U-Haul location would not answer the onsite telephone. Later, I discovered that no trailer accessories are sold in the store anyway. Upon return, they closed at 5:30 pm, so I dropped off the trailer, but not the 12 moving pads, since there was no way to secure them. I left a phone message that I would return the following morning at 11 am with the pads. Of course, the store was closed, and no one would answer the phone. Therefore, I left the pads, and I texted puctures of the trailer and pads to show the items were in their possession. This mess caused me to be 1 hour and 45 minutes late to help my daughter move out of a bad situation, when I was her only helper! I am 63 years old, and I have rented various U-Haul equipment in California, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. This was the worst U-Haul experience at any location anywhere. A local business should not become a U-Haul licensee unless he or she understands how much a simple U-Haul truck or trailer impacts people’s lives and is willing to accept that responsibility. U-Haul corporate should better manage their licensees to ensure compliance with corporate quality standards. U-Haul...you can do better than this!!!
