The gentleman was very polite. The location hours are listed as Mon-Sun 8am -7pm. When I called to verify they had a car dolly available he told me he had to leave at 4pm. So he was rushing to get us out the door so he could leave because we didn’t get there until about 10 min to 4 because of traffic. I never saw a contract, wasn't asked to sign anything, just hook up and leave. It wasn't until after we had left that I got an email telling me we were supposed to take pictures of the trailer to verify its condition or we could be charged for anything that was found wrong. When I got the receipt later I noticed a charge for Safe Choice Insurance. I contacted Uhaul to ask if that is mandatory, it isn't. So I've asked for a refund. The only way to do that is to submit a complaint. So far I haven't heard back. I don't have any other complaint. I just hope they fund that charge since I was unaware of it and it is supposed to be optional .
