The person who checked me in was very nice and courteous. That said, I ordered a dolly, a rolling dolly, 6 blankets, all which were not available. I do not understand how I can order, you fulfill and confirm my order but when I get there to pick up, the things I need for my move are not available. That is downright idiotic. The truck also had two planks of wood inside so it was not totally cleaned out prior to my rental plus the fuel level was at 1/8th or 48 miles before it was on empty. Makes so you have to immediately fill up, which again, the truck should start with a full tank and the renters are required to get it back to full upon return or charged for the amount missing. Good golly folks, this is basic block and tackling.

Disappointing Experience We rented a U-Haul truck on Saturday, August 15, and returned it the same day. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. First, the pickup location was changed, which was inconvenient and caused additional confusion with our plans. Then, when we called U-Haul, the representative told us that he would add additional miles to our rental. We relied on what we were told, but the miles were never added to our reservation. As a result, we were charged extra for the additional miles we drove. I don’t think this is fair when we were specifically told over the phone that the additional miles would be added. I hope U-Haul can improve communication between its representatives and customers and make sure that promised changes are actually reflected in the reservation. Overall, this experience was frustrating and left us disappointed with the service.
Anton KThe truck had "17 miles to empty" when I picked up the truck. I returned it with "50 miles to empty " yet i was charged almost $90 extra for the fuel being low. This is scummy and BS business practice
Sean KI received a text from u haul at 12:37pm on the day of pick up saying to take a photo of the back of truck to verify equipments condition and the license plate. My pick up time was 12:30pm so received this text after I picked it up and didn’t do these things. Maybe let the customer know sooner! The gal who rented to us was very helpful and nice. She checked us in and showed us how the back latch worked. She said she was from Nepal but didn’t get her name.
